By the time: one even is completed before another one.
Since: from that time to the present.
Until / Till: to that time and then no longer.
As soon as / once: when one even happens, another even happens soon
afterwards.
- As long as / so long as: during that time, from the beginning to the end.
- Whenever: every time.
