1. Vị trí
Danh từ trong một cụm danh từ

a/an/the
my/his/Peter’s … + Adv + Adj + Noun (Thứ tự quan trọng: Noun à Adj à Adv)

ome/ any/ a lot of….

E.g: the extremely interesting book, an incredible successful girl

Cụm danh từ trong một câu:
N + V + N + prep + N

2. Các đuôi của danh từ
Các đuôi Noun thông thường: ion, ness, ty, ure, er, ant, ist…
* noun:
er/or: teacher, director, supervisor
ee/ eer/ ier: trainee, engineer, cashier
ant: applicant, participant
ian: vegetarian /,vedʒi'teəriən/: người ăn chay


ist : novelist, specialist
tion/ sion: organization, identification, conclusion
ism: criticism /´kriti¸sizəm/: lời phê bình
hood: childhood (thời thơ ấu), neighborhood
ship: friendship, relationship
ance/ence: performance, difference

ment: shipment, government, agreement
sis: analysis /ə'næləsis/: sự phân tích
ity: activity, creativity (sự sáng tạo)
