Lesson 1: Getting started- Listen and read.
I/The aims of the lesson:
-To help ss get acquainted with the topic of the unit 4 & listen & read the Reading
a dialogue for details about the questions in an exam.
*Vocabulary: -aspect, examiner,college,candidate,oral examination,written
examination.
*Grammar: reported speech with question.
*Skill: -Main skill: Listen & read
-Other skills: Write & speak.
II/The objective of the lesson:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to produce the questions for an oral
examination,understand the reported speech with question.
III/Teaching aids:
-Radio,text book,tape record,picture.

-To help ss pratice speaking to persuade someone to do something.

-Other skills: Writing, Reading,Listening.
II/The objective of the lesson
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to persuade friends to attend the
school they like.
III/Teaching aids:
-Posters,text book.
IV/Procedures
1.Check up:
Test 15’:-Report all the questions,beginning with: “she asked me…….”

Tomorrow is Sunday, Lan and her friends wany to go somewhere, Lan enjoys
going to the seaside.What does she say to persuade her friends to go with her to the
seaside.

5.While speaking

T: divide the class into groups of three, aks Ss in groups to play the roles of Thu ,
Tam and Kim. They are awarded a scholarship of USS 2000 to attend an English
language summer course abroad.

Ss: Try to persuade his or her friends to attend the course.Read three
advertisements to get information.

Ex: * Thu – the Brighton Language Center UK.
- I think we should go to the brighton Language Center in the UK . Because the
school there has exellent reputation and we can live in the dormitory on campus.


6.Post speaking
T; Asks Ss to work in groups of 3, persuading others to do that he or she prefers.
Ss: Discuss about this topic “What will you do on Tet holiday?”
7.Homework assignment.
-Do exercises II in workbooks and practice speaking more.

I/The aims of the lesson:
-To help ss listen to the tape to get information about Nga’s studying English.
*Skill:-Main skill: Listen

-Other skills: Read,speak,write.
II/The objective of the lesson
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the correct information
by listening .Checking true- false satements by listening
III/Teaching aids
Radio,tape record,poster.
IV/Procedures

Speak to make a similar dialogue last period.

Ask ss some about their studying
3.Preteach vocabulary:
