Activity 2. Giving the Rules
In general, a rise in a tune means that what we say needs an
answer. The rising tune is usually applied in these cases:
- Yes/No questions
Ex: Are you free this afternoon?
- Tag-questions
Ex: He wrote this letter, didn’t he?
- The first part of Or Questions
Ex: Do you want to go to Paris or London?

heard the news?

- Class is divided into 2 groups.
- Each group chooses a number, looks at the pictures
and makes sentence with phrasal verb, after hearing
the bell ringing, the group must give their answer.
- For the right answer, get 1 point.

- With the lucky number, get one point without
answering the question and have the right to choose
another number.
-The group with the highest score is the winner.
