colour I love the most. I and my little sister always go to school
every day by it. We sometimes ride it to visit our grandparents,
friends or go shopping, go for picnic. My father also tells me that I
can go cycling in the early morning with him but I can never get
up before 6 A.M.

2: Write about a new bedroom
Hi Billy,
I am writing to let you know that we have just moved to a bigger
house near the suburb. The house is great, and at last I have my
own bedroom. It is upstairs and have a good view to a lake
behind. The room is painted with pink colour and always filled with
the light every morning and even in the evening. There is a desk
in front of big window with purple curtains, where I often do my
homework, listen to music on my Laptop or make-up before going
out with friends. A small bookshelf with some of my books and
CDs and a pictures of my family is in the corner of the room, next
to my comfortable bed. Would you like to come to see my new
room on this Saturday afternoon?

I have a good news to share with you that my brother has just

friends....whatever I want. But I always spend most of my time to

Hi Billy,
I am writing this email to tell you about my mother, the person I
love most in the world. My mother’s name is Nguyet, it means
“The Moon” in English. She is over 50s, has a round face with
very long dark hair. My mother doesn’t have a good health but
has to work hard as a worker in a local factory six days a week to
support the whole family. However, she never gets angry with
anybody. She always loves and takes good care of us and
welcome our guests with big smile. She has set a good example
for us to follow.

Hi Billy,
I am writing this email to tell you about my favorite book. I enjoy
reading "Great Detective Conan" (a Japanese comic series
written by Gosho Aoyama) the most because I have always been
a great fan of detective stories. I especially love the way Conan
using logic and astute observation to solve each case. The stories
not only provided me entertainment, but is also gave me

knowledge. I have learnt a lot of useful things from reading
Conan. That is why I always look forward to the new story of

Hi Billy,
My family have just moved to a new house. It is in the suburb of
HCM city. There are of 4 bedrooms, a living room, and a
bathroom with a shower, a dining room, a kitchen and a toilet. I
like the living room, which is rather large, decorated with beautiful
pictures on the wall. We often watch TV and talking to each other
in this room after dinner every day. There is also a small garden
where my mother can grow some vegetables and flowers. Would
you be interested in visiting my house this weekend?

There are choices of sports to take part in at our university and I
decided to learn badminton because I enjoy it the most.
Badminton helps me reduce stress after classes, and I don’t have

it contains mind and body exercise which make me healthier, and
it also a pass time game. I can make many friends when we play

I have just come back from a week holiday with my family. We
had a great journey to Da Nang. The first 6 days, we stayed in a
small hotel by the beach. You can’t imagine, the beach in Da
Nang was really beautiful and very pure. We spent most of our
time for swimming, having sunbathing, and eating delicious
seafood there. The last day, we visited Ba Na hills by cable car. I

had the most interesting experience when I was on the sky
looking down. I can’t forget that feeling, it is hard to describe. I
took many photos which you can see on my Facebook. Hope you
can travel to Da Nang one day. Write soon and tell me about your

10: Discovered a new interesting restaurant
Hi Billy,
I have just discovered an excellent restaurant called THE
GREEN. It is not too far from my house, just a few kilometers.
There were some tables in the garden for people who enjoy
eating outside. My family took a taxi to there and had a great
dinner together last Sunday evening. The food was really
delicious and there was a band playing there. The price was
reasonable and the waiters always looked after us beautifully. I
liked the atmosphere there, it was very nice. Would you like to

classmate. His name is Mark and he has come from England. He
