II. New lesson:
1. Pre writing
a) Vocabulary:
- be equal in = bình đẳng (tran)
- bear one’s name = mang tên ai (tran)

- freedom of choice = tự do lựa chọn (exam)


b) Run through an argument.
- Present the table and ask:
- How many parts are there in an argument?
- What are they?
- What does the writer do in each part of an

2. While writing
- Ask students to read the outline B to
answer question 1, 2, 3 in outline A.
- Teacher gives help to weak students.

- Tells the students to write the arguments.
3. Post writing
- Ask students to swap their writings to
correct for themselves.
- Teacher corrects typical mistakes.
- Teacher asks some students to read their
writings.
III. Homework:

1. Write an argument with “Parents should
spend more time with their children”
2. Prepare the next lesson: Unit two.
Lesson 6: Language focus.

Secondly, wearing casual clothes

gives students freedom of choice. They
have the rights to choose sizes, colors,
and fashions of clothes that they love.
Finally, casual clothes make school
more colorful and lively. Students feel
self-confident when they are in their
favorite clothes.
In conclusion, students, particularly
high school students should wear
casual clothes. Wearing casual clothes
is convenient, comfortable and fun.
