Warm up
Play game: count the numbers from 1-16

Have students review the numbers.
Learn the numbers

Present the number by using number cards: thirteen, fourteen
Show the number card “17”, read several times
Have the class repeat
Call some students read
Repeat steps with number “18”.

Write the number “17, 18 ” on the board, guide students how to write.
Ask students to open their books
Point to the carrots and ask: “ How many carrots?”
Point to the mangoes and ask “ How many mangoes?”

Read and count the numbers 1-18

Warm up
Play game: Review the number and objects

Have students review the numbers.
Stick the pictures on the small board to review.
Look and say

Ask students to open their book
Show the picture on the board.
Point to the picture from 1 to 4.

Look at the story and answer the questions:
Who can you see in the pictures ?
How many sandwiches are there on the plate in the first picture?
What happens to one of the sandwiches?
Whose sandwiches were they?

How do we know?
Listen

Guide students to listen the story: from the left to the right ( picture 1 to picture 4).
Play the recording for students to listen all the way through.
Play again, pause after each picture for students to listen showly.
Ask students to say about the story in Vietnamese.

Replay the recording, ask students to listen and point
