FOREWORD
Not every ones have ability to understand better their emotions, goals and dreams than
others. Therefore, how to make a smart choice to adapt to a certain situation. Understanding
yourself will bring you many advantages, such as in educational goals, in life and in building
and maintaning good relationships with everybody
.
Looking at people who have gotten great achievements in society, we can see that they
possess ability to orient themself and ultilize this to achieve the goals. Hence, if we have
ability to identify ourself which means can identify emotions and uses this to orient our

Page 2

direction eventhough the life can be up and down, failed or successful, our ego always be
existing.
Thanks to excercises Big 5 and MBTI , I firstly be helped in analysising and identifying
myself by reviewing backward daily behaviors in life and work. I do this report and look
back at my behaviors and experiences on point of view “ how to acknowlege, understand and
react to individuals ?”, “what is my role, how to work in a team ”, the more detail the more
effective. This report is created also from my goals, how successful of achievements, self
evaluation of ability.
I summarize the points that I find myself not from mature understanding of selfawareness can be understood as self-awareness skills is itself personal capacity to effectively
apply the knowledge, experience action to identify who you are right, I could do anything,
strengths, its weaknesses are, we are living in circumstances.

CHAPTER 1
SELF AWARENESS
1. What is self-awareness
Self-awareness is development process of human being. This is complicated issuse and
the most important for people. Self-awareness is understood that is individual process to
identify what is belong to and what is not, especially process to separate inner ego to
understand yourself with psychology, personality and morality

Page 3

From the above acknolegements, it is understood that self-awareness is individual
ability to ultilize knowlegements, experiences to identify who i am, what can i do,
strongnesses, weaknesses, what situation i am living in
2. How can self-awareness be founded ?
Self-awareness is founded at early of childhood with specific characteristics and
contents. The first showing of self-awareness is to distingish them to material world. Then,
self-awareness of a child is developed. They aware that they are a member of social

envirnment that is their family. At this period a child will form comparision thinking.
Coming to youth period, individuals start to acknowledge about “ ego concept” via
knowlegements about psychology, character, morality. This is process to mature of everyone
3. Why do need to establish self-awareness
Self-awareness will help people to understand themselves about strongness and
weakness, favorites, beliefs, motivations and existing emotions. Therefore, everyone can
identify what are important, suitable, developable in order to improve them
Self-awareness also anable you to understand others, how they feel about you and also
react and feedback to them. Through “mirror” is other person to acknowlege about you and
give suitable reacts.
The more understand ourself the more we can control and choose reactions. If we
understand our emotions and thoughts, we can select actions or reactions which are fitted to
given situation or person.

CHAPTER 2: BEHAVIOR
1. What is behaviour
Behavior is demonstration of communication, is reaction to other in a certain situation
by attitudes, actions, way of speech in order to get good results in human relationships.
Regarding to personality, behaviour is individual characteristics which is shown via attitudes,
actions, ways of speech to others.
.
2. Orientation of behavour in future

Page 4

Behaviour is manifestation of outside activities which are shown via lifestyle, living,
thinking and action to you and others in daily life and work. However, behavior is different
person to person, it is founded during education, practice process and effect to mature of
people in future. Behavior is considered as per cultural, moral, sense value of each person

and demostrate via attitude, action, gesture and speech of each person. They are manifested
in relationship with neighbour people, in studying, working, with friends and eventhough to
ourself
II. Some specific examples of results and behavior in society
Behavior is a series of activities in order to give a solution which is guaranteed for a
certain respected outcome. Successful people like confident feelings because of a wise
choice for a give situation at right time. With practice, i can improve ability to make good
decisions in every area of the life such as finan, occupation including many decisive
activities and selections, that is key for my success.
Ability to make good decisions can help me:
• Achieve target in working and private life
• Avoid mistakes which are led to consequences later
Whether studying, working or leisure with family, friends the importance is predetermine consequences in prior to making decisions. For example:
Imagine i was going out to play with family, i met a friend who invited me a cigarette,
should i accept or deny? Or on weekend, a group of my friends asked me to travel, should i
accept or deny? Or should i think to other behavior
That is the life! We always have to make decisions and are responsible to them

Two tables of terminal values and evaluated criterions help us to evaluate ourself and
evaluate the important things in the life.
With diversify options, not every time you are right. But, in font of the most important
selections, making decision will help the life “Sublimate” or vice versa
The life always push us with ambition and mission which is value, foundation, behavior
standards. To identify lifestyle, the questions should be answered: “Who i am, what i am
doing, it is worth or not?”
Indetifying the lifestyle is also selection the reason to live (what is real life) – considered
is “destination”, “steering” or of the life. This is the most important selection and will effect to
others. Not every one select right “destination” and “steering” the the consequences destroy
the life. Human beings is good originally, but choosing the different life styles will born
different lifes.
Talking to people is implied to human society with many interlocking relationships, and
also the relationships that shape the portrait of a person. For example, the West have a saying:
Let's say you tell me who you are, I would say you are. But her grandparents, commenting on
a person or a group of people often say: "Ma-range code, range ox ox" or "near ink black, near
the dawn light" (except a few people too particularly, the personality, the ink will not be
nearly black, nor bright lights that close).

II. Test MBTI
Page 9

Personal - assessment practitioner begins here:
Q1. Which is your most natural energy orientation?

Every person has two faces.

One is directed towards the OUTER world of activities, excitements, people, and things.
The other is directed inward to the INNER world of thoughts, interests, ideas, and

imagination.
While these are two different but complementary sides of our nature, most people have
an innate preference towards energy from either the OUTER or the INNER world. Thus
one of their faces, either the Extraverted (E) or Introverted (I), takes the lead in their
personality development and plays a more dominant role in their behavior.
Extraverted Characteristics

Introverted Characteristics

Act first, think/reflect later

Think/reflect first, then Act

Feel deprived when cut off from

Regularly require an amount of

interaction with the outside world

Usually open to and motivated by

Q2. Which way of Perceiving or understanding is most "automatic" or natural?
The Sensing (S) side of our brain notices the sights, sounds, smells and all the sensory

details of the PRESENT. It categorizes, organizes, records and stores the specifics from
the here and now. It is REALITY based, dealing with "what is." It also provides the
specific details of memory & recollections from PAST events. The Intuitive (N) side of
our brain seeks to understand, interpret and form OVERALL patterns of all the
information that is collected and records these patterns and relationships. It speculates on
POSSIBILITIES, including looking into and forecasting the FUTURE. It is
imaginative and conceptual. While both kinds of perceiving are necessary and used by
all people, each of us instinctively tends to favor one over the other.

Q3. Which way of forming Judgments and making choices is most natural?
The Thinking (T) side of our brain analyzes information in a DETACHED, objective
fashion. It operates from factual principles, deduces and forms conclusions
systematically. It is our logical nature.

The Feeling (F) side of our brain forms

conclusions in an ATTACHED and somewhat global manner, based on likes/dislikes,
impact on others, and human and aesthetic values. It is our subjective nature.

While

everyone uses both means of forming conclusions, each person has a natural bias
towards one over the other so that when they give us conflicting directions - one side is
the natural trump card or tiebreaker.

Q4. What is your "action orientation" towards the outside world? All people use
both judging (thinking and feeling) and perceiving (sensing and intuition) processes to

store information, organize our thoughts, make decisions, take actions and manage our
lives. Yet one of these processes (Judging or Perceiving) tends to take the lead in our
relationship with the outside world . . . while the other governs our inner world. A
Judging (J) style approaches the outside world WITH A PLAN and is oriented towards
organizing one's surroundings, being prepared, making decisions and reaching closure
and completion.
A Perceiving (P) style takes the outside world AS IT COMES and is adopting and
adapting, flexible, open-ended and receptive to new opportunities and changing game
plans.

Through examination tests results obtained letters expressing your personality
includes body text this represents the INTJ personality to your body, especially the lifestyles
of inner intuition and any continuation get everything mainly based on intuition.
Since introverted intuition is key in the way of itself, whose personality INTJ tend to
focus on observing the world around them and create new ideas and possibilities. Their
brains continuously gather information and make connections between information. Itself a
very deep and often out new ideas quickly. However, the main interest is not understanding
the concept, which is to apply that concept in a useful way.
Example 1: I am in charge of import and export task in company. In meeting the I am

appointed to be team leader for bidding of locomotives’ spare parts in Ha Noi. To better
prepare the bidding, I assigned to the staffs who in charge of the work as follows:
- Hai is assigned purchase bid docs and prepare the bidding docs.
- Long is assigned to work with the Chinese partners to get some offers from China

with factory price
In the process of preparation bids, we are aware that there are 3 bidders but only us
have price from factory. We are nearly sure 90% that we will win the bid.
But when the bid closed, we were lost because of high price. Management needs an
explanation from me, we have meeting and think our competitor knew our price and put
pressure on Long and Hai
Example 2: I have given to a staff name Cuong to do custom clearance to import
goods at Da Nang airport. When employees Cuong has completed the customs declaration,
the customs officer check goods and discovered that the quantity on the customs declaration
is 03 units but there are 12 pcs in package. Cuong didn’t know to explain and phone call me.
When I went down and explained that 1 unit includes 4 pcs so everything is ok. At
first the officer didn’t accept but i insisted it’s right. At the end, he also accpeted. After i did a
check with my partner in Germany and i recognized that they send goods with quantity
higher than i bought

III. Evaluate and analysis behavior, personality

Page 13

Through the test and example happend in my company, i aware apart of human beings
behavior and personality and reconignize my pros and cons then have proper solution to
improve myself.

Example No 1 saying i behave to my followers judgedly and it is not right. It should
be found the causes why partner can get better price and where it come from, is goods
manufactured in right factory or not , how quality. From that we can have proper solution
and method for next case.
Example No.2 saying that I am a decisive person but still conservative. The points
that do not affect to someone so much, we can also apply, but depend on conditions and

circumstances.
*Solution to enhance and improve my personality
To improve myself i need to focus, need to be alerted and not be hurry up in collecting
everything intuitively to have right understanding. This is necessary in processing new
information intuitively
+ Pros: - The information is systematized and analysis in a natural way, although in
different conditions and circumstances.
- Ability to concentrate to complete the work.
- Be willing to change to achieve goals.
- Build and develop a plan successfully.
+ Disadvantages: - Regularly not interested in other people's opinions
- Judged disadvantages, mistakes of the other regularly.
- Always think I am right conservatively.
+ Solution: - Pay attention to listen to new ideas of others so that can analysis that is
right and wrong.
- Understanding the attitudes and feelings of the people before behaving.

Page 14

- Must accept to face to your weaknesses to try to overcome them.
- Do judge myself as I usually judge others.
CONCLUSION
By doing Big 5 and MBTI test and the report I acknowledge an important thing is not
the point I found superior to others but that is I look back and see what I have collected of
knowledgement, what I have grown up. I think and record issues such as: For each event,
each phenomenon, I have striven and have encountered obstacles, how difficult. What things
still going on? If I fail, what were causes and what did I do to fix them.
Behavior is a sequence of repetitive actions. Actions are activities with a specific
purpose, specific method in a specific location. Thus, the basic of action and behavior is so

human behavior targeted in nature.
With behavioral nature of human thinking is always associated with emotional reason,
the analysis of the behavior itself, we can see that there are some limitations which can not
apply in practice. It is only true in theory with the idealized assumptions.
