INTRODUCTION
In many countries, insects are considered

clean specialty that natural gift.

Especially in Southeast Asia, where each insect party is diversified. Not until now people
use crickets to process food. Since ancient times, farmers in rural areas knew how to

hunt crickets and other insects like grasshoppers, locusts, scorpions, spiders, ... to
process many delicious dishes for the family.
Long time ago, the land was extensive and population was thinly populated , this insect
was everywhere and superfluous to eat.Therefor, no one dares to think about feeding
them for reproducing to multiplicate. Today, however, land is crowed, not only shelter
but also food is scarce, expensive. Therefor, if people want to have enough this insect to
eat, they must think about keeping them for reproducing to meet enough demand of
market.
Therefore cricket feeding project is established as a commercial source with the
industrial scale, closed breeding process and ensures product quality and stable supply
capability.

Chapter I
Introduction
1.1 Name of project
Project of constructing cricket breeding farm with industrial scale and insects
restaurant is named " Hung_Da Nang cricket farm privately owned company". The

business name is clearly about product information of the enterprise that is "cricket" and
is inherent in the name of the owner, founder .
1.2 Project owner:
Project owner: Đặng Nguyên Hùng
1.3Location

Hung_Da Nang cricket farm will be located on Nguyen Cong Tru street,An Hai
Dong precint, Son Tra District for a couple of reasons.Firstly, farm model needs large
land area to built breeding facilities, as a result, Nguyen Cong Tru area with much
unused land , cheaper rent and near the city center is a ideal place for distribution
Secondly, farm area will be located on main road , that is convenient for broadcast
-ing with many people going to the sea on a daily basic day and tourists from Da Nang
International Airport going to hotel subordiating to famous beach tourist area such as
T18, My Khe, Pham Van Dong, etc.
1.4.Target of project
The project deployed and put into operation must recover capital after 03 years.
With high profitable percentage of project ,business believes in the recovering capital in
mentioned above period. Farms were completed and put into operation after 5 months of
project implementation. This is the necessary time to help project’s rate of progress
satisfy objectives recovering capital and operating in that period .

Long-term goal: developing the farm on scale and product quality, providing
breeder cricket and cricket merchandise for market, having significantly contribution to
the development of commercial cricket farming industry in Da Nang, having a part in
eradicating hunger and alleviating poverty for farmers . Creating jobs for about 100 to
150 local employees, revenue per year about 10 to 15 billion, profit after tax o about 2 to
3 billion.
1.5.Assumption of project:
The project is carried out basing on the knowledge and understanding of the
researcher . Therefore, there will be some problems only based on the assumptions
from foudation of the theory. This is also the drawbacks and shortcomings of the project.
However, during implementation, we will pay attention to find the optimal solution.
-

Some assumed factors in the project:

-

- The total area square is 2000m2 , in which, construction space is 1000m2
including 700m2breeding facilities, 200m2 restaurants, 40m2 galleries & office,
30m2the warehouse, 20m2 kitchen and 20m2 toilets, space has been leveled
completely before entering the building.

-

- The licensing process, the administrative formalities are not difficult, completed
time in accordance with term prescribed by the State .There is no any extra item
of expenditure during the licensing process

-

During the construction period,it is not affected by weather or other factors to
complete the project in accordance with the calculated rate of progress

_ Project budget is 2.5 billion. Includes expected expenditures such as:
-

The cost to implement administrative formalities: Developing and improving

Caculate standard deviation: δ=√35.96 = 5.9967
Caculate probability:

Probability to finish work with optimistic To:

We have: Xlq= To(1) + To(3) + To(15) + To(19) + To(25) + To(51)
= 5 + 15 + 3 + 55 + 2 + 1 + 45 = 126
Applying the formula: Z=(X-Te)/ δ =(126-147)/ 5.9967 = - 3.501
Looking on the standard probability table, regulation match with value of 3.501 is
99,98%.
 The probability of completing the project is 99.98%
 Probability of completing work with pessimistic time Tp:

We have : Xtp= Tp(1) + Tp(3) + Tp(15) + Tp(19) + Tp(25) + Tp(51)
= 9 + 25 + 7 + 65 + 5 + 3 + 55 = 169
Apply formula: Z=(X-Te)/ δ =(169-147)/ 5.9967 = 3.668
Looking on the standard probability table, regulation match with value of 3668 is
99.99%.
 The probability of completing the project is 99,99%
2.4 Assess risks

2.4.1 Define risks
-

Price of materials increase:

The project uses two types of materials as building

materials and production

materials. In which, materials (materials, equipment, ..) represents a large share in the
cost of the project. Therefore, price fluctuations of material will affect the production
cost of finished products and capital of the business.
-

Risk of city planning change that lead to change of location

The risk factor belong to group of risks that investors can not either anticipate or
intervene. These issues influenced by the state, government and the change the overall
planning of the state interfere business significantly, affect the survival of the entire
project. Therefor, to limit a risk, business owners need to learn schedule outline carefully
and predict the situation can effect the change to policy of state and local government.
The risk of not guaranteed construction quality :
Construction quality is not guaranteed due to many reasons such as weakness and
shortcoming technical skill, inexperienced and unethical contractors, and negligence
from the contractor which will seriously affect the progress of works and project costs.
- Risk of a land contract cut before deadline
Risks in case landowners really wanted to get the land before the agreed deadline.
The cause may be due to the increase of land prices in the region, landowners want to
take back land to transact, or rental prices is so low that landlords want to cancel the
contract to lease it to others.
Risk of accidents:
The shortcomings in the design, such as incorrect calculation, unlogical structural
layout; improper material selection; unsensible job allocation.; the lack of machinery,
vehicles, equipment; process violation, safe technical violation and last problems due

not guaranteed work environment .
Futhermore, there are also a number of other risks such as natural disasters (hurricanes,
earthquakes, ...) Time of construction extends because the different contractors not working on
time affects other contractors; fire accidents etc.

Above are some of the most common risk during project implementation. Therefore,
the project director, project supervision and contractors need to consider specific
calculation problems may occur, frequently remind and guide employees that in the
work process ,they must carry out proper safeguards rightly;appliances, equipment for
labor protection for workers are also fully equipped . Equipt the necessary medical
equipment at the works to meet first aid timely when accidents happen

Conclusion
If cricket feeding project is established, it will be commercial supplies with
industrial scale, self-contained breeding process and ensure product quality. Creating

jobs for about 100 to 150 local workers. However, crickets are insects reproducing
rapidly, each cricket lays thousands eggs per times. If the output is not stable, breeder
will no longer pay attention to crickets, as a result, they come out the external
environment and the risk of crop damage is huge. Therefor, must note output to have
reasonable development measures. Due to limited time and understanding, the plan,
progress check, implementation costs, the adjustable measures and assessing risk of the
project is limited .we hope to receive opinions of teachers and readers. Sincerely thank
Dr. Phan Thi Thu Ha guide for this exercise. /.
