SUMMARY
Project Title: Waves Dynamics for Heat and Mass transfer process in some
mixtures of Liquid with Vapour bubbles
Code number:
B 2009 TN02
02
Coordinator: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan
Implementing Institution: Thai nguyen Univesity
Cooperating Institution(s): Thai nguyen Univesity of Technology
Duration:
from 2009 to 2010
1. Objectives:
The Shock wave propagation processes in liquid with vapour bubble are
analyzed. Its general dependence on the initial conditions, boundary conditions and
thermophysiscal properties of medium for propagation processes and reflection by
close valve in some liquid with vapour bubbles mixtures are studied.
2. Main contents:
Based on the hydrothermal dynamics system equations describing mixture
liquid with vapour bubbles, the numerical code was constructed and built. This code
was used for investigating heat and mass transfer interphases processes, the shock
wave propagation in some mixtures liquid with vapour bubbles. The effect of the
initial conditions, shock strength, volume fraction, bubble radius and of the
thermophysical properties of the phases on the interphases heat and mass transfer in
the shock wave propagation processes are studied and analyzed.
3. Results obtained:
The resutls obtained have proved that the influence of nonlinear, dispersion
and dissipative energy of the mixture influenced the Shock wave evolution process.
At the same time, the effect of interphase heat and mass transfer on the wave
structure is determined.
The investigation results obtained will be useful for education and science
study of teachers and students.
