PART 2: JOB INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
1. What are your strengths?
- I’m friendly and humorous so it is easy for me to make friends with everybody.
And I’m very carefully in all works. It has helped me has a good results in learning. I
am always on the time in all my work and I want to help everyone when they need. I
can work in group very well and I can do everything that the company require.
- I’m creative because I often make new things for my life.
- I’m reliable so that my friends always believe in me and love me.
- I’m patient in all work. I always try to learn and work well although there are a lot
of difficulties.
2. What are your weakness?
- Because I’m very careful so sometimes I don’t finish my work on time. But I’ll try
to improve it. And at the moment, my ability to communicate in E isn’t very good. It
is my weakness. I am trying to speak E better by learning English every day. I hope I
can use my English in my future job.
3. What are your short term goals.
My short term goals:
- I will try my best to pass this English test. I am going to Improve my english and

I’ll try to earn a lot of money to help for my parents because they were very hard
when I went to school. And then, I want to look after my parents a few years. When
my job is stable, I’ll get married.
6. If you could change one thing about your personality, what would it be and
why?
If I could change one thing about my personality, I’ll change my stubbornness.
Because it makes me become a selfish person , just know my oppinions is right. So I
want to change it. I’ll learn to listen to the opinions of others to understand what
everyone are thinking.
7. What does success mean to you?
- For me success means I can pass this exam, have a good job after I graduate and I
can earn much money. And then I can have a happy family.

- I really like to learn E and I set a goal to learn E very well. In my oppinion,success
means I can speak E very well, can communicate with foreigners very well. That is
the most success with me.
8. What does failure mean to you?
In my oppinion, the failure always makes the success. Everytime, I fail is
experience to improve myself. Failure is when I don’t reach my goal.
Once, I failed the exam because I hadn’t prepared carefully for it. I tried my best next
time and I got good mark. So this failure brought me success later.
9. Are you an organized person?
Yes, I am an organized person. Because I usually on time in all my work. I set
up a plan for a week and then do it. So I don’t forget anything. It helps me always
finish work ahead of time. Cause this reason I think I’m an organizied person.
10. Do you manage your time well?
I think I manage my time well. Because I never go to school late, I hate tobe
late. I can manage my time well because I usually make plan for what I have to do for
a week, it helps me keep on track and even helps me to be more efficient.
11. Why should I hire you?
- I have good health.

I think you should choose me because I am an orgnized person and I manage
my time very well. I always on time in all my work. I hate to be late. I set up a plan
for a week and then did it on time. And I can work in group very well.

13. What was your favorite subject?
I really enjoy studying Math. I don’t understand why I like to learn it. But
everytime I study math I am very interested in it. Studying Math helps me to use my
logical ability to solve problem. And I always complete the Math homework first.
14. Why did you choose your major?
+ Garment:
- I choose garment technolory because: Firstly, I think in the future, I knew it would
develop in our country.
- Secondly, I really like fashion since I was small. So I want to become a fashion
designer in the future. And I want to design clothes for my family.
- I can earn enough money for my life.
- I can work near my home.
+ Vietnamese study:
- I can earn much money: about 20 million VND a month.

If choosed again my major, I’ll still choose the garment technolory. Because
I’m passionate about fashion when I was small. I really like watching fashion shows
on TV and I have a dream of becoming a fashion deseigner in the future. So I want to
learn this major.

16. How would your best friend describe you?
Oh, An interesting question, I think.
In fact, I have to say that I have many friends. Most of them like me, so that if
they have chance to talk about me I think they may say that:

As you know, I am the fouth-years student. So at the moment, I have
completed my internship at the company. It was only two months, but I learned a lot
of thing.

21. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?
If I could start my career over again, I’ll try to learn better to have good
qualifications after graduation. And I’ll try to learn E very well.
22. Tell me about your last position? Introduce the people you worked for and
the people you work with.
I used to be an accountant in the office. My leaders are very active and very
good. Sometime he usually organizes travel for everybody in the office. About my
colleagues, they are very friendly. They usually help me in work. So I love them so
much.

I have ever met a very good manager. Because he is very active and he always
help everyone. Sometimes, he usually organizes travel for everyone and so on.
24. How do you handle change?
The first, I have to be calm down . I can not handle that problem alone, I need
discuss with my team to make idea to handle problem. Because I can work in group

25. Do you work well on pressure?
I’m not sure but I’ll try my best. When I am a student, I study under high
pressure during exams. If I have chances to work under high pressure I think I can do
that to meet the demand of the work.

Among my friends, Cuong is my best friend. We started in the same class at
university. We have been friend for 10 years. We have a lot of things in common. We

Topic 3: Tell about your last holiday
1. Dear teacher,
I am a student at Sao Do University
If I have a chance to talk about my last holiday, I would like to talk about my trip to
Binh Lieu.
I had a fun trip to Binh Lieu with my friends 4 months ago.
We went to Binh Lieu by motor bike.
Because we travelled 5 hours on the road for about 200km, so we felt tired but it was
wonderful.
When we stayed there, we eat special food which is called “Banh trang” of Binh
Lieu or Binh Lieu pancake .
And we bought chicken and meat .I felt interesting.
After the trip we know more about habits of Tay ethnic .We enjoy beautiful
landscapes, and people there are very friendly, easy-going and always help everyone.
After the trip I think I will travel more and more, I hope we can come back here once
more time

2. Last summer, I went to Cat Ba island with my family. We went there by car
because it was very far from my house. Cat Ba island was really interesting, the
beach was very large and had a lot of sand. And we stayed in Thuy Tien hotel, it was
very nice and comfortable. The weather was hot and sunny all day. So the sea was
very cool and clear because it had much wind in the afternoon. We went to
swimming twice a day and then we took a lot of photographs of sea. After a week in
Cat Ba is land, we felt happy and comfortable. So we hope to come back there again.

Topic 4: The importance of learning English
1. Well. I can say that English is very important for everyone especially for
students who are going to graduate like us.
I want to Learn English well because I want to have a good job. I think I will work in
a foreign company in the future.

Topic 6 Talk about life in the city
1. If I have a chance to talk about life in the city, firstly I will talk about the good
points.
I think that living in a city is very good because of following reasons:
- Communication and tranportation systems in the city are better than in the
country
- Thank to electricity network and running water, our material life are more
comfortable
- Urban life provides us with all sorts of entertainment such as television, movie
theater, radio
- Living in town we can improve our knowledge by attending any schools,
universities
Beside its advantages, urban life also has its disadvantages
-Our health is in danger : pollution by factories and heavy traffic may cause
serious diseases to all of us

-Moreover, the houses are small and the environment is polluted
To have better life in the city we should keep the environment green
We should improve faclities and traffic system

2. As you know, talking about life in the city is very busy and noisy. However,
the city is the entertainment center and it is a very developed place. In the city, we
are easy to go shopping or go to park or go to the zoo,… And more importantly, the
city has many companies, universities, and so on… This is a good environment to

I like drinking ice tea because it’s a popular drink on the street

The internet is very important in our life and it became part of our everyday
life. Nobody can deny the benefits that the internet brings us.
Firstly, the internet is a source of information, we can get all information which
is very fast and convenient way. We can search any information we need.
Secondly, the internet is a source of entertainment. We can watch a movies,
listen to music, play game, chat on face book with friends,… every time.
Finally, the internet is a means of education. We can learn foreign languages,
look up information. We can take online course and learn a lot of thing.


A lot of people are using the internet to communicate, share information, to
make friends with everyone in the world. So it’s make our world become close
together.

My hometown í famous for …………….

My hometown is very great place and I love my hometown so much. Because this is
where I was born and grew up with many beautiful memories. People here are very
good and friendly. Everyone is always happy. They live together, help each other
when they need. My hometown is in the countryside. So this place isn’t as busy and
noisy as in the city. The life is very quite. I really like to stay at home because I
always feel comfortable and relaxed. In my opinion, my hometown is the most
wonderful place.
