a) ối với động từ TOBE :

b) ối với động từ thường (V):

CÁCH THÊM “-ED” VÀO ĐỘNG TỪ
- Thêm –d vào sau các động từ tận cùng
bằng –ee hoặc –e
Ex: live => lived, agree=> agreed, etc.

 hobby (n): sở thích
 sewing (n): việc may vá
 Cushion (n): gối nhựa
 (a) skirt : cái váy
 useful(adj) >< useless : hữu ích
 (to) fit – fitted : vừa vặn
 (to) sew : may
 (to) decide: quyết định

 sharp (adj): sắc, nhọn
 minimart (n): chợ nhỏ
 hairdresser (n) : hiệu cắt tóc

- Tuy nhiên chúng ta cần chú ý như sau:

ra làm 2 trường hợp:
- trước y là một phụ âm, ta biến y thành i

trước khi thêm –ed: study => studied (phát
âm –ied là /id/)
- trước y là một nguyên âm, ta thêm –ed
bình thường: play => played.
** Cách sử dụng: - Chúng ta sử dụng thì
quá khứ đơn để diễn đạt một hành động
bắt đầu và kết thúc tại một thời điểm xác
định trong quá khứ. Và thường đi với các
trạng từ: Yesterday, ago, last night/
week/ month/ year/ summer/……
Ví dụ: I saw a movie yesterday.







I didn't see a play yesterday.
Last year, I traveled to Japan.
Last year, I didn't travel to Korea.
Did you have dinner last night?
She washed her car.
He didn't wash his car.

Chúng ta dùng thì Quá khứ đơn để diễn tả
một chuỗi hành động đã hoàn tất trong quá
khứ, lần lựơt diễn ra nối tiếp nhau.
Ví dụ: I finished work, walked to the
beach, and found a nice place to swim.



chúng ta thường dùng: always, often,
usually, never, when I was a child, when
I was younger, ...
Ví dụ: I used to cry when I was small.
