UNIT 2: I’M FROM JAPAN
Lesson 3: part 1-2-3
I. Objectives: After the lesson, students are able to:
- Greet and respond to formal greetings.
- Pronounce correctly the sound of the letters “ J ” and that of the letter “ V ”.
- Develop listening, reading, writing skills.
II. Language contents:
- Vocabulary: Japan, Japanese.
- Grammar : I’m from Japan.

I’m Vietnamese.
III. Teaching aids:
1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette, Part’s flash cards of the day.
2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IV. Procedures:
1. Class organization:
- Greeting
- Checking for the students' attendance.
2. Oral test:
- Have pupils ask and answer questions about someone, intro-duce someone.

Have ss look at the picture and identify the characters and
what they are doing.
Introduce the dialogue: They are going to listen to Miss
Hien and her class talking about the day of week.
Play the recording for the ss.
Play again , have ss listen and repeat.
Elicit the new word and new sentence from ss.
Teach the new word and new sentence.
Ask ss give some more examples.
Have ss read the dialogue.
Check some pairs.
Have ss look at the picture and identify the characters and
