I’m eighteen years old. I’m pursuing a diploma in nursing at Pham Ngoc Thach
University and my major is Anaesthesia. I’d like to work because I want to help the
sick to relieve pain in their operations. Moreover, I can also learn about diferent
diseases, treatments and therapy for the sick… This not only helps for myself, my
family but also helps the society. At very a young age, I witnessed of dangerous
emergencies of my father and I felt very happy when his patient survived the
surgery safely. I am always keeping that in my mind. At that time, the dream of
being a nurse was rekindled in me. In my high school, I took part in voluteer
organizarions and I really enjoy them, especially care for orphans and
disadvantaged children. One day, I hope to work in a children’s hospital in order to
take care of them more. In my free time, I like reading and listening to classical
music. I think that’s a great way to release stress from work. I’m quite good at
talking to people and making them feel comfortable. Besides, my strongest savvy
is that I always study things watchfully. That is what helps me most in my line of
work. I have the ability to work well under pressure and I know if I want to be a
good nurse, I will have to try harder. Although I love hard-working conditions, I’m
totally not the one for paperwork. My short term goal is to learn everything I can
about Anaesthesia. In the future, I want to be in a position that can help me to
ultilize what I’ve learnt and gain real life experience.
