- Greeting
- Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by asking some pupils to go to the front of
the class to sing the song What's the date today? Have the class clap hands.

- Tell pupils that they are going to read a story in which pupils ask and answer questions about
birthdays

- identify the characters in the picture on page 14 and answer questions such as: Who are they?

birthday? and Mai answers It's on the fifth of March.
