Lesson 1: Getting started + Listen and read
I. Aim of this lesson.
1) Objectives:
- Helps students know some vocabulary about saving energy
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know some things the family could
do to save money.
2) Teaching points: Thing the family could do to save money.
Suggest + Ving to make suggestion.
II. Preparation
- Teacher: Text book, pictures, poster/ extra board, lesson plan, cassette.
- Students: Homework, tools for learning.
III. Checking up the old lesson (8 )
1. Write the Vocab of the previous lesson.
2. Write a letter to your friend to tell him / her about your second semester report and
about Summer holiday
- Checks and corrects.
- Gives marks.

Meaning: Đề nghị ai đó làm gì.
Use: Make suggestion (Nói câu đề nghị).

I. Aim of this lesson.
1) Objectives:
- Helps students know some vocabulary about saving energy
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know how to save energy. And they
can know how to make suggestion.
- They have a chance to speak with their friend and teachers.
II. Preparation
- Teacher: Text book, pictures, poster/ extra board, lesson plan, cassette.
- Students: Homework, tools for learning.
III. Checking up the old lesson (8 )’
1. Write the Vocab of the previous lesson.
