Period1 . Giới thiệu môn học cách học
A. Aims:
By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to know the content of the textbook of
grade 6 and the methods of learning English .
B. Co ntent .
I. Presentation
1. Nội dung chơng trình môn tiếng Anh lớp 6.
- Gồm 16 đơn vị bài học .Mỗi đơn vị bài gồm 2,3 phần A,B,C. Mỗi phần đợc học từ
1 đến 2 tiết học 45 phút.
- Mỗi 1 bài học (section).Trong cuốn tiếng Anh 6 đợc phát triển theo tình tự từ giới
thiệu bài học, giới thiệu ngữ liệu hay giới thiệu nội dung, chủ điểm mới, luyện tập, vận
dụng và cũng cố .
- Phần mở bài là tranh ảnh hoặc các hoạt động do giáo viên tiến hành nhằm gây
hứng thú cho các em và hớng sự chú ý của các em vào chủ đề hay trọng tâm của bài học.
- Phần giới thiệu ngữ liệu mới gồm các mục nh: Listen -repeat/ listen -read nhằm
giới thiệu cho các em những từ và cấu trúc từ mới trong bối cảnh ngôn ngữ đợc sử dụng
trong đời sống .
- Kiểm tra mức độ hiểu ngữ liệu mới gồm các mục nh ask and answer/practise with
a partner / math / true- false, nhằm đảm bảo cho các em hiểu đợc các từ hoặc cấu trúc
mới và nội dung các thông tin các thông tin trong bài đọc hoặc bài đối thoại trớc khi bắt
đầu thực hành.
- Thực hành có các loại bài tập khác nhau về nghe, nói, đọc, viết để thực hành ngữ
liệu theo chủ điểm, chủ đề của bài .
- Những mục có đánh dấu (*) là những bài mở rộng hặc cũng cố, giành cho các em
tự làm ở nhà .
- Ghi nhớ (remember) là mục tóm tắt trọng tâm của bài, giúp các em nhận biết và
ghi nhớ những điểm chính của mỗi phần học.
- Luyện tập ngữ pháp (grammar practise), tập hợp các bài, giúp các em cũng cố
thêm các cấu trúc ngữ pháp sau mỗi 2 hoặc 3 đơn vị bài học.

- Cuối sách là phần tóm tắt ngữ pháp (grammar) và bảng từ vựng (glossary) cho cả
năm học.
- Đi kèm cuốn sách là 1 băng ghi âm gồm tất cả các bài luyện kỹ năng nghe do ng-
ời bản ngữ đọc .
2. Phơng pháp học môn tiếng Anh lớp 6.
Mục đích cuối cùng của việc học ngoại ngữ là giao tiếp. Vì vậy, khi học 1 ngoại
ngữ học sinh phải hết sức coi trọng việc học từ vựng. Không có từ vựng thì không có
ngôn ngữ. Học sinh học thuôc lòng phần từ vựng qua mỗi bài học. Từ vựng có thể đợc
học qua các bài đối thoại, các bài đọc hay mẫu câu. Phải luyện tập từ vựng qua nhiều
hình thức. Luỵên tập từ kết hợp với luyện tập các mẫu câu và các cấu trúc. ở lớp phải
tích cực thực hành luyện nói theo cặp, theo nhóm để phát huy khả năng giao tiếp.
Tranh thủ luyện nghe thêm ở nhà: có thể mua thêm một số tài liệu tự nghe hiểu ở
nhà. Làm đầy đủ các bài tập tơng ứng với mỗi bài học trong sách bài tập.
Mua thêm các sách tham khảo (bổ sung hoặc nâng cao) và làm thêm ở nhà.

T crumples a piece of paper into a ball. Show ss that you want them to catch the ball and
throw it back to you.Practice a little bit first. Then tell ss to catch the ball and say ‘1’.
Throw the ball back and you throw it to another student who will say ‘2’. Keep going
until you get to 20. If the students are well behaved, let them toss to each other. If you
are a bit crazy, keep them tossing it back to you.

the stress pattern: How OLD are you? This is to help them
distinguish this question from ‘ how are you?’. Ss often
confuse these questions!

guess correctly. Make sure that student answer, yes or no,

T use the pictures in part C2 at page 28-29 to present the new words.

Checking: Slap the board.
T takes the eraser in hand and asks students ‘What is this ?’ and point to the
