Customs and traditions play an important role in our family. We maintain our own customs and traditions
to strengthen each member's sense of belonging.

of the great outdoors in our children. We've found our favourite campsite and returned there again and again.
That's why we've built lots of special memories around that place.
(B) Secondly, we have the tradition of hunting Easter eggs. Instead of leaving the Easter basket by their beds or in
the living room, we create a fun hunt for them. We leave the first clue by their beds and they follow one clue to the
next until they find their baskets. We have followed this tradition for generations and Easter has always been an
awesome and memorable vacation.
(C) By tradition, my family also celebrates Thanksgiving. The most interesting part is related to the Thankful Box.
Family members are encouraged to write down a few things they are grateful for on paper and then place it in a

decorated box. Later on, as the family eats dessert, the box is passed around the table for each person to pick up a
note and read it aloud until the box is empty. It's so meaningful to hear heartfelt and sometimes humourous thankyou messages from family members.
