II. PRE – SPEAKING:
1. New Words:
- a sleeveless sweater: áo len cụt tay.
- a striped shirt: áo sơ mi kẻ sọc
- a plain suit: bộ quần áo com lê
- a faded jeans: quần jean bạc màu
- a short – sleeved blouse: áo sơ mi ngắn tay.
- a baggy pants: quần thụng
- a plaid skirt: váy kẻ ô
* Checking memery: Matching.
2. Set the scene: “In the last lesson, we got some


information about Ao dai – the traditional dress of
Viet Nam. Today we will learn about the casual
clothes that we wear daily.”

* Set the scene: “Now you use the questions in the
survey to interview members of another group. The
words in section a) may help you. After you have
finished your task ask you to report the result of your
survey in your group.”
Ex: - Three people said they liked their uniform.
- Two people said they usually wore colorful T –
shirts on the weekend.
- Chi said she loved baggy pants.
IV: POST SPEAKING:

- What type of clothing do you wear on Tet holiday?
- What would you wear to party?
V. HOMEWORK:
- Learn by heart the new words.
-To make a list of types of clothing that most of the

students in class like wearing on different special
cases.
