* REVISION
1. The present simple tense (Thì hiện tại đơn)
* Form:
+ Affirmative ( k/ đ): S + V
o/s/es
......
+ Negative ( p/ đ): S + doesn’t/ don’t + Vo ……..
+ Interogative (n/ v): Does/ Do + S + Vo ……?
* Use : Adverbs: always, usually, sometimes, often, every (day, month, . .), today, . . . .
2. The present progressive (hiện tại tiếp diễn)
* Form: S + am/ is/ are + Ving…….
* Use : Adverbs: at the moment, at present, now, look!, . . . .
3. The past simple tense (Thì quá khứ đơn)
* Form:
+ Affirmative ( k/ đ): S + V2/ Ved ......
+ Negative ( p/ đ): S + didn’t + Vo ……..
+ Interogative (n/ v): Did + S + Vo …… ?
* Use : Adverbs: Last, yesterday, ago. in ( 2000), . . . .
4. The past progressive (Quá khứ tiếp diễn)
* Form: S + was/ were + Ving…….
* Usage:
a. Diễn tả 1 sự việc xảy ra tại 1 thời điểm xác đònh trong quá khứ
Ex: at 8 o’clock yesterday, at this (that) time last night…….

b. Diễn tả 1 sự việc đang xảy ra, có 1 sự việc khác xảy đến ở quá khứ
Ex: Last night When lan was listening to music, the phone rang
c. Diễn tả 2 hay nhiều sự việc xảy ra cùng 1 lúc ở quá khứ
Ex:Yesterday as (while ) I was doing my homework, Nam was listening to music

5. The present perfect with already, yet, ever, never, just
S + have/has + already + V3/ed . . . . .
S + haven’t/ hasn’t + V3/ ed . . . . . + yet
Have/ Has + S + V3/ed . . . . + yet?
Have/ Has + S + ever + V3/ed . . . .?
S + have/ has + never+ S3/ed . . . .
S + have/ has + just + V3/ed . . . .
6.. Comparison of simple past and present perfect:
* Simple past : Diễn tả 1 sự kiện đã xảy ra và chấm dứt trong quá khứ
Ex: My brother worked in the company two years ago.
* present perfect: Diễn tả 1 sự kiện xảy ra trong quá khứ và còn tiếp tục ở hiện tại
Ex: My brother has worked in the company for two years .
Use : to make unreal wishes in the present
7. The simple future tense
* Form:
+ Affirmative ( k/ đ): S + shall/ will + Vo . . .
+ Negative ( p/ đ): S + shall/ will +not + Vo . . .
+ Interogative (n/ v): Shall/ Will + S + Vo . . .
* Use : Adverbs: tomorrow, next, . . . .

1. Aim : Helping Ss to introduce some places of interest where they live. Using past simple tense with
“Wish”.
2. Objective : By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to introduce some places of interest and use “Wish” to
make unreal wishes in the present.
