The wonderful thing about my job is that we do not always have a “typical day.” My job
changes with the seasons. In the spring, I may be checking the licenses of people who are fishing
on one day, then conducting an inspection of a truck hauling timber logs the next day. In the
summer, one day I may be patrolling a river or lake with my boat, and then the next day
patrolling a state park. In the fall and early winter, I may be checking deer hunters one day and
