<b>1. Checking: Collects the letters that Ss wrote at home</b>

- Introduces the contents of the lesson.



<i><b>1. Adverbs of manner. (Part 1-P.52)</b></i>


- Elicits the examples of adverb of place
and time, then introduces adverb of
manner.


<b>*Examples:</b>


<i>a) We often get up at 5 in the morning</i>
<i>b) I live in Hue</i>


<i>c) She speaks English softly.</i>
<i>d) She smiles in a friendly way</i>


- Asks them to compare them and pick out
<i>the question: When, Where, How</i>


- Checks the meaning, form and give
notes.


- Asks Ss to do exercise 1 in pairs and
share their results.


- Gets feedback and correct.


- Asks Ss to play the roles with the
dialogues in pairs.


- Calls on some pairs to read aloud.
