physical design by associating design steps with these phases.

Demonstrate your understanding of the conceptual, logical, and physical
design phases of the MSF Design Process.

Before You Begin
This activity includes both small group tasks and class discussion.
Prerequisites
You must have completed Activity 1.1, “Identifying Design Steps.”
Materials
This activity requires the output of Activity 1.1, “Identifying Design Steps.”
Time to complete this activity: 10 minutes followed by a 10 minute
discussion.

1. Read each step identified earlier and list them in the table provided.
2. Assign a phase of conceptual, logical, or physical to each step.
3. Provide the reason for the assignment.
