I. Xác định tên chủ đề: AN TỒN GIAO THƠNG (SAFE TRAFFIC)
II. Mơ tả chủ đề:

1. Tổng số tiết thực hiện chủ đề: 2 tiết.

+ Nội dung tiết 1: Tìm hiểu ý nghĩa các biển báo về an tồn giao thơng.
+ Nội dung tiết 2: Tuân thủ các biển báo khi tham gia giao thông

2. Mục tiêu chủ đề:

a) Mục tiêu tiết 1:
 I. Objectives:

+Aim: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to read the text fluently, use

can/can’t statement and traffic vocab to talk about what you are allowed and not allowed
to do on the road..

1. Knowledge:

-Vocabulary: -can: (modal V) .có thể,có khả năng.-can not =can’t (modal V)
:không thể., -policeman (n) cảnh sát, -difficult (a) khó,gian khổ, -job (n) nghề nghiệp,
-man (n) người đàn ông, -sign (n) biển báo, -road sign (n) biển báo giao thông, -one way
(n) đường một chiều, -something : một vài thứ, -park (v) đổ xe,đậu xe. -turn left (v) rẻ
trái, -turn right (v) rẻ phải, -go straight ahead (v) đi thẳng.

-Grammar: Model verbs: can / can’t .
2. Skills: Listening, speaking, reading, writing.
3. Attitude: active, cooperative.

b) Mục tiêu tiết 2:
I. Objectives:

+ Aim: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to read the text about road signs
then answer the questions; Use Must /must’t for obligation/prohibition; Listen and get the
numbers the signs exactly.

-Vocabulary: must (mv) phải, mustn’t =must not (mv) không được, accident (n)tai
nại, help /he:p / (v) giúp đở, warn / wa :n / (v) cảnh báo, intersection (n) giao lộ, slow
down (v) đi chậm lại, go fast (v) đi nhanh, stop (v) dừng lại,

- Grammar: must / must not.

4. Các nội dung chính của chủ đề theo tiết:

Tiết 1: 1. Giới thiệu bằng hình ảnhvề ý nghia các biển báo giao thông. 
2. HS sử dụng các biển báo trong các tình huống tham gia giao thơng.
3. HS vẻ được các biển báo giao thông cơ bản.

4. Học sinh nhận xét các hành vi tham gia giao thông đúng hoặc sai.

Tiết 2: 1. Sử dụng các biển báo giao thông bằng tiếng Anh (must/ mustn’t, can/ can’t). 
2. HS mô phỏng các vi tham gia giao thông và cần sử dụng các biển báo hợp lý.
BƯỚC 2: Biên soạn câu hỏi/bài tập:

* Biên soạn câu hỏi/ bài tập theo hướng:

- Xây dựng được bộ câu hỏi với các mức độ từ thấp đến cao
- Học sinh nhận biết ý nghĩa các loại loại biển báo giao thông.
- Phiếu đánh giá nhận biêt của học sinh.

* Cụ thể:

III. Preparation:

1. Teacher: Textbooks, notebooks, lesson plan, Cassettes, tapes, pictures, posters.

2. Students: books.

IV. Procedure :

1. Checking up: new words; read the text and answer the qs; give the form and
example.

Warmer: Chatting

-Ask Ss to look at the pictures about signs and answer the questions:
*What does the sign mean ?
