- Learn and practise reading skills and sing a song

2. Warm up (5’)

- Ss read aloud.

-Ask ss to point letter /ei/ in the word
ant and point to the picture of ant . Do
the same with apple and alligator
-Ask ss to listen the story and point to
the picture of key words when they hear
them in the story
- Ss work in pairs ,one read and one
check
- Correct their mistakes
- Ask ss point to the sight word.Ss listen
and repeat and read aloud
<b>2.Song :10’</b>
- Put up the ant,apple,alligator phonics
card on board
- Ask ss to point the ant and say A for
<i>ant </i>
.Do the same with the rest of the song
- Play the CD .Ask ss to listen and sing
- Ask ss to take out the ant ,apple
alligator picture cards and put them on
the desk
- Play the CD and ask ss listen and hold
up the corresponding card
<b>3. Pactise: 8’</b>
*Activity : Which one is missing
- Put the card up on the table and give ss
a minute to look at them and ask ss close
their eyes and take away a card
- Ss open their eyes and name the card
missing
