Go on : tiếp tục

Go off: nổ (mìn) / hơi, thiu (món ăn) / reo (đồng hồ báo thức)
Go up : tăng

Go down: giảm
Go through: chịu đưng

-Khi cụm động từ là nội động từ thì khơng có tân ngữ trực tiếp đi theo
Ex. The students always stand up when the teacher comes in.

-Khi cụm động từ là ngoại động từ thì có tân ngữ trực tiếp đi theo
Ex. He turned on the lights.

He turned the lights on

Note: khi tân ngữ là đại từ: He turned them on.
