Teaching steps : Section A1: Listen and repeat. Teacher’s activities - Warm up . - Shcws a picture to students and tells them to listen to the tape. - Explains some new words (pictures and example ). New words : - living room (n) - table (n) - chair ( n ) - armchair (n) - bookself ( n ) - couch ( n ) - lamp ( n ) - telephone (n) - television (n) - stereo (n) - Uses pictures to check new words. Students’ activities - Listen - Learning new words - Read all of them . - Listen and repeat after the tape .. - Playing the tape twice or more .
