<b>1. </b>

<i><b>Present Simple tense.( Thì hiện tại đơn)</b></i>



- Use : Để diễn tả các sự việc một cách tổng quát , không nhất thiết chỉ nghĩ đến hiện tại .
Ta dùng thì này để nói đến một sự việc nào đó xảy ra liên tục ,lặp đi lặp lại nhiều lần , hay
mơt điều gì đó ln ln đúng ,dù cho sự việc đó có xảy ra ngay tại lúc nói hay khơng là
điều khơng quan trọng .


- Form: + S + V/Vs / es + ………. Ex - We go to school every day.



- S + don’t/doesn’t + V+ ……….. -We don’t have classes on Sunday.


? Do/Does + S + V + ……….? - Does Lan speak French?


<i><b>2. . Present progressive Tense ( Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn )</b></i>



- Use : Diễn tả một hành động xảy ra vào đúng thời điểm nói.


-Form : + S + is / am/ are + V-ing + ……… Ex : I’m learning English now.


- S + is / am/ are + not + V-ing + …… He isn’t learning English now.

<i><b>III. Câu mệnh lệnh</b></i>

: là loại câu yêu cầu hay sai khiến ai làm điều gì đó


- Câu mệnh lệnh khẳng định : được thành lập bằng cách lấy động từ nguyên mẫu bỏ TO. Ta
thường thêm <b>please </b>cho lịch sự. Ex: Open the door! Sit down ,please!


- - Câu mệnh lệnh phủ định : được thành lập bằng cách thêm <b>Don’t </b>trước động từ nguyên


mẫu không TO. Ex: Don’t talk in class !


<i><b>IV. Mạo từ</b></i>



- Mạo từ bất định <b>A/AN:</b> - dùng với các danh từ chỉ nghề nghiệp số ít. (Ex: I’m a teacher);
- dùng trong các diễn đạt về số lượng (Ex: a pair of shoes, a little rice,…)


- dùng trong câu cảm có dạng <b>What + a / an + countable noun! </b>Ex: What a lovely
day!


* Note: Mạo từ bất định A đứng trước các từ bắt đầu bằng phụ âm. Ex: a teacher, a ruler
Mạo từ bất định AN đứng trước các từ bắt đầu bằng các nguyênï âm <b>a, e, i, o, u .</b>Ex:
an egg


- Mạo từ xác định <b>THE:</b>- dùng trước tên sông/biển/khách sạn/nhà hat/ viện bảo tàng/ báo
Ex: the Atlantic ; the Times; . . .


- dùng để xác định vật hay người duy nhất. Ex: the Sun; the
government


- dùng với tính từ so sánh bậc nhất Ex: He’s the richest man in the
world.


- Không dùng mạo từ: - trước các danh từ số nhiều hay danh từ khơng đếm được khi nói về
những vật hay người chung chung. Ex: I like bread


- trước tên một nước, tên thành phố, tên đường phố, tiếng nói, tên tạp
chí, bữa ăn, tên phi trường, tên nhà ga và núi. Ex: I often have lunch with John at work.


<i><b>V. Cách diễn đạt về số lượng </b></i>




1. <b>SOME</b>: dùng cho danh từ đếm được số nhiều và danh từ khơng đếm được. Nó được dùng
trong câu khẳng định . Ex: Some man at the door is asking to see you.


2. <b>ANY</b>: Dùng thay thế cho SOME trong câu phủ định và nghi vấn

3. <b>A LOT OF / LOTS OF</b>: dùng với danh từ đếm được số nhiều và danh từ không đếm được
có nghĩa là “một số lượng nhiều “ . Ex: I like black coffee with lots of sugar.


4. <b>MANY</b>: dùng với danh từ đếm được số nhiều có nghĩa là “nhiều”
Ex: Many people agree with me about it.


5. <b>MUCH: </b> dùng với danh từ khơng đếm được có nghĩa là “nhiều”
Ex: Do you have much difficulty studying English?


* Note : MANY và MUCH thường được dùng trong câu hỏi và câu phủ định .
A LOT OF / LOTS OF thường được dùng trong câu khẳng định.


6. <b>A FEW</b>: dùng với danh từ đếm được số nhiềucó nghĩa là “một vài, một số”
Ex: He wants to ask us a few questions.


7. <b> A LITTLE</b> : dùng với danh từ khơng đếm được có nghĩa là “một chút, một ít”
Ex: Add a little salt in the lemon juice.


8. <b>FEW</b>: dùng với danh từ số nhiềucó nghĩa là “ít, hiếm” Ex: Few people live to be 100.
9. <b>LITTLE</b> : dùng với danh từ khơng đếm được có nghĩa là“chẳng bao nhiêu,rất ít ,khơng
có đủ”


Ex: I have very little time for reading.



* Note:+ Little/few:diễn tả ý chung chung “ít –hầu như không”,thường đi với
VERY.Ex:very few


+ A little /a few xác định rõ ràng hơn “ một ít ,một vài, một số nhưng vừa đủ” ,
thường đi với ONLY /JUST. Ex: only a little.


10. <b>DANH TỪ CHỈ VỀ LƯỢNG / PHẦN</b>( NOUN PARTITIVES)
-Form: <b>a + noun</b> (partitives) <b>+ noun</b>


<b>- </b>Một số danh từ chỉ về lượng và phần thường dùng


+ A pair of: một cặp , một đôi , một cái Ex: a pair of shoes , a pair of scissors.


+ A piece of : một mẩu, một miếng, một món. Ex: a piece of news, a piece of paper
+ A slice of : một lát, một miếng mỏng. Ex: a slice of onion.


+ A loaf of : một ổ Ex: a loaf of bread


+ A bar of : một thỏi, một thẻ, một thanh, một bánh. Ex: a bar of soafp.


<i><b>VI. Trạng từ chỉ tần suất</b></i>

:

<i><b> </b></i>

dùng để diễn tả mức độ dày hay thưa của hành động. Các


trạng từ này trả lời cho câu hỏi “ <b>How often ?</b>” ( Làm gì đó có thường xuyên hay không ?)
* Các trạng từ chỉ tần suất thường gặp: always (100%)- luôn luôn


usually (99%-90%)-thường thường often ( 90%-75% )-thường


sometimes (75%-25%)- thỉnh thoảng seldom (20% - 10% )hiếm khi


rarely (10%-1%)- hiếm never (0%)-khơng bao giờ



* Ngồi các trạng từ chỉ tần suất trên ta cịn có các cụm trạng từ chỉ tần suất như :every day
/ week / month ……; once a week / twice a week /a month / a year.


<i><b>VII. Các hình thức so sánh của tính từ</b></i>



1. <b> So sánh bằng</b>


- Dạng khẳng ñònh: <b> S + V + as + adj + as</b> Ex: Mai is as tall as Lan .

- Tính từ có hai âm tiết trở lên: <b>More + adj +than</b> Ex: My sister is more beautiful than

3 <b>So sánh hơn nhất</b>


-Tính từ có một âm tiết : <b>The + Adj –est</b> Ex: This tower is the tallest.
- Tính từ có hai âm tiết trở lên: <b>The + most + adj </b> Ex:Hoa is the most beautiful in my
class


Note : Một số tính từ bất qui tắc


Good - better - the best fas - farther - the farthest


Bad - worse - the worst further - the furthest


<i><b>VIII. Một số giới từ chỉ thời gian và vị trí thường dùng</b></i>



<b>* Giới từ chỉ thời gian : </b> at, in ,on, from . . . to, for, by


- <b>AT : </b> + một điểm thời gian cụ thể Ex : We have class at one o’clock.



+ night Ex : I sleep at night.


<b>- IN : </b> + tháng/năm cụ thể Ex : I was born 1994


+ the morning/afternoon / evening Ex : We have class in the morning.


<b>- ON: </b> + ngày trong tuần Ex : We have class on Monday.


+ ngày tháng năm Ex: I was born on April 6, 2006


<b>- FROM </b>+ một điểm thời gian + <b>TO </b>+ một điểm thời gian
Ex: We have class from 7.00 to 10.15


- <b> FOR : </b>+ một khoảng thời gian : để nói rằng một cái gì đó diễn ra bao lâu rồi
Ex : We watched TV for 2 hours last night.


<b>- BY : </b> + một điểm thời gian Ex: Can you finish the work by five o’clock.


<b>* Giới từ chỉ địa điểm hoặc nơi chốn :</b>


<b>- ON : </b> -<b>ở trên</b> ( chạm vào, sát vào ,bao phủ hoạc tạo thành một phần của bề mặt )
Ex: There is a picture on the wall.


- <b> ở (</b> một đại lộ ,một con đường )
Ex: I live on Nguyen Van Cu Street.


- <b> ở trên/ trong hoặc vào trong một phương tiện chuyên chở </b>


Ex : We will have lunch on the train



-<b> trên, dựa trên hoặc gắn vào người nào , vật gì </b>


Ex: She’s wearing a ring on her thumb finger.


<b>- AT : + </b> địa chỉ Ex: I live at 10 Nguyen Van Cu Street.

<i><b>IX. Một số câu đề nghị</b></i>



Để đề nghị ai làm việc gì đó ta có thể dùng một trong các cấu trúc sau:
+ <b>Let’s + bare infinitive</b>. Ex: Let’s go to the movie.


+ <b> What about + V-ing ? </b> Ex: What about going to the beach?
+ <b>How about + V-ing ? </b> Ex: How about having lunch in this restaurant?
+ <b>Why don’t we………..? </b> Ex: Why don’t we visit this museum?


Note: - Let’s (do something) = I have a suggestion for you and me ( Chúng ta hãy ……)


- Thay vì dùng “<b>Let’s”</b> chúng ta có thể dùng các lời đề nghị như <b>What about + V-ing</b>
<b>? How about + V-ing ? </b>( còn về) hoặc <b>Why don’t we…..?</b> ( Tại sao chúng mình khơng


làm ‘gì’)
