Part c1: Find the causes that lead you to
do volunteer work in remote areas
1. Many children in remote areas cannot read
and write because they are not sent to
school.
2. Many adults in remote areas are illiterate,
so they do not take special care of their
children's education.
3. Lack of good teaching conditions and
teachers also makes the matter worse.
4. Teaching and learning conditions in these
areas is too poor to improve education.
5. Traveling to school there is too difficult
due t the lack of road and convenient
transportation.
Activity 3 Speaking.
In my opinion, to solve the above problem
1. Law must take effect that going to
school is compulsory for children from
the age of 6 or 7.
2. It is necessary to raise the people's
awareness of the importance of
education in the cause of improving
living conditions.
3. Government should have some
policies that ensure teachers' good
living and teaching conditions.

4. More schools and roads should be
built and repaired so that there could
be enough seats for children.
5. Government should imply schemes to
improve people's living standard so
that they could pay more attention to
their children' learning.
6. More volunteers should work there
to introduce new farming methods,
family planning methods, teach
illiterate people and help them to
access fresh water and sanitary.
