The stages of the lesson. 1/ Check the old lesson (2’) - Questions: Rewrite the form of simple present tense and past simple tense then make the sentences in the affirmative form. (Calls on 2-3 Ss) -Key: a/ Simple present tense +/ S + V(s,es) + C -/ S + do/ does + not + V + C ?/S + S + V + C ? b/ Simple present tense +/ S + V(ed) + C -/ S + did + not + V + C ?/ Did + S + V + C ? - Mark: checks, remarks and gives mark - Introduce new lesson (1’): read the dialogue for details and revision of simple present, simple past tense. 2/ The new lesson Teacher and Ss’ activities Coppy down a.Warm-up (3’) “ Pelmanism “ - Prepares 6 cards with numbers on one side and the verbs on the other. Make sure the verbs are mixed up sticks the card on the board so Ss can only see the numbers Eg: Meet (1) Send (2) See (3) Sent (1’) Saw (2’) Met (3’) b.
