Speaker 1: I first came out here to stay with friends for a few months after I left university, but ended up not
going back. I couldn’t believe how laid back it was all here. Everyone is every (1) ________ and informal and
in the part of the continent where I live, I really loved – and still do love – the fact that you can more or less

Speaker 2: I went there to teach English, and immediately fell in love with the (6) ________ so ended up
staying for several years. Their priorities are different – for example, people still tend to sit down at lunchtime
