I. Objective

1. Warm up (5’)
*Activity: Touch Body Parts
- T asks Ss to stand in pairs.
- T say a word and have students touch the
appropriate body part of their partner.
Repeat the activity with other words.

2. New lesson
*Activity D. Point and say. (10’)
- T introduce the situation: “The children are
playing a game. Look! The boy is touching his
head. …..”
- T give Ss more examples by touching his/ her
parts of body when he/ she says. Ask some Ss to
make examples.
- T show a flashcard to the class.
- T ask Ss to practice the structure using the new
word.
- T asks Ss to repeat with other flashcards.
E.g. Teacher shows flashcard "head".
Class: "Touch your head."
- T divide the class into pairs.
- T asks Student A say, e.g. "Touch your leg.",
and Student B do the action.
- T asks Ss to swap roles and repeat.
- T calls some pairs demonstrate the activity in
front of the class.
E. Play “Simon says”
*Activity E. Play “Simon says” (10’)
- T asks Ss to look at the example.
- T tell Ss that they must only follow commands
that start with "Simon says…"
- T demonstrate the game by giving the students
different commands. If the command starts with
"Simon says," Ss must do the action. If it doesn't
start with "Simon says," Ss who do the action
must sit down.
- T calls one student come to the front of the
class to be "Simon."
- T swap roles and repeat with a new "Simon."
Play game
*Activity “Draw a monster” (10’)
- T asks Ss to work individually.
- T give each Ss a piece of paper to draw a
monster.
- T asks Ss to think about how many body parts
the monster will have. Encourage them to draw
a scary monster.
For example, Ss can draw four heads, eight arms
and one leg and ask them draw and color the
monster.
- Display the completed pictures in the
classroom.
3. Application (3’)
- Ask ss to show the parts of the body
