I. OBJECTIVES:
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
+ Introduce some sports.
+ Speak and write some sports that they play.
II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassetle
III. PROCEDURES:
TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES
1/ Warm-up: (8’)
- Hang on some pictures, and ask Ss:
What are they doing?

2/ Presentation: (10’)
- Use the pictures to elicit some new words.
I. Vocabulary:
1. play badminton (v)
2. play table tennis (v)
3. do aerobics (v)
4. skip (v)
5. jog (v)
- Check vocabulary : “What and Where”.
3/ Practice: (15’)
 Activity 1:


- Have Ss listen to the tape twice.
- Correct their pronunciations and give some questions.
II. Comprehension questions.

- Have Ss listen, and repeat A3
- Ask Ss to answer the question:

I. OBJECTIVES:
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to tell some activities in the free time.
II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassetle
III. PROCEDURES:
TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES
1/ Warm-up: (5’)
Kim’s game
- Give some pictures.
- Ask Ss to write down some activities they see. (no

pictures)

 Introduce the new lesson.
2/ Pre-writing: (15’)
- Have Ss listen and repeat B1.
I. Listen and repeat:
What do you do in your free time?
- Ask Ss to write down the answer.
- Replace “I” by “Phuong, Ly, …”, and ask Ss to make
question and answer.
*Example exchange:
S1: What does Phuong do in his free time?
S2: He goes to the movie.
3/ While-writing: (15’)
- Introduce the requirement and ask Ss to work in pairs
to change “I” to the name of people in the pictures.
- Ask Ss to compare & give their writing.
