- Play the recording again for pupils to
chant each line of the rhythm.
- Call on a group of six to the front of
the class practice the chant and do the
actions. The others clap their hands
after the chant
- Group work. Pupils practice chanting
and doing the actions in groups
- Monitor the activity and help them
when necessary.
- Correct pronunciation Ps’ errors.

- Tell Ps read the sentences halves on
the left and pair them with those on the
right by drawing a line between them.
- Give a few seconds for Ps to read the
text in silence. Check comprehension
and their prediction
- Ask Ps to do the task individually
- Monitor the activity and offer help
when necessary
- Have Ss trade the answers in pairs for
correction
- Call on some Ps to report their
answers. Others listen and comment.
- Have the whole class read each
