The provided bar chart clearly details how many students in both
genders chose to study various subjects in a unspecified university
in the US/in America in 2010.
OVERVIEW
Overall, it is readily apparent that the number of students studying
Finance was largest, while the opposite was true for Engineering.

experienced by far the largest number of students registering,
while the opposite pattern was clearly seen in Engineering.

Looking back in more details, Finance was considered as the most
outstanding subject among students in both genders, with their
figures standing at 230 students for each. Similarly, Accounting
was also a common subject among females with 200 students,
which was slightly higher than that of males (180 students). When
it comes to Marketing, there were approximately 130 female
students choosing this subject as their major. This figure was
significantly higher than that of their counter-part with roughly 80


students.
Regarding the remaining subjects, mathematics was labelled as a
subject for males with the largest discrepancy among both sexes
(200 males and 60 females). Also, 150 male economics students
were recorded in the same year, while the figure for females was


only half of that. It is of note that Engineering was by far the least
attractive major among students in this university, with only more
or less 50 students registering.
