PART A: INTRODUCTION
1. Rationale
Education is a purposeful activity directed at achieving certain aims, such as
transmitting knowledge or fostering skills and character traits. These aims may
include the development of understanding, rationality, kindness, and honesty.
Various researchers emphasize the role of critical thinking to distinguish
education from indoctrination. Some theorists require that education results in an
improvement of the student while others prefer a value-neutral definition of the
term. In a slightly different sense, education may also refer, not to the process,
but to the product of this process: the mental states and dispositions possessed by
educated people. Education originated as the transmission of cultural heritage
from one generation to the next. Today, educational goals increasingly
encompass new ideas such as the liberation of learners, skills needed for modern
society, empathy, and complex vocational skills.
Vietnam is a country on the move. Yet contemporary Vietnam's education
system is at a crossroads. Rapid economic growth has permitted rapid increases
in the scale and scope of formal schooling, but there is a prevailing sense that the

current education system is inadequate to the country’s needs. Sunny
assessments of Vietnam's “achievements” in the sphere of education have given
way to a realization that the country lacks skilled workers. Some have even
spoken of an "education crisis". These are not abstract concerns. What is
occurring in Vietnam's education system today has broad implications for the
country’s social, political, economic, and cultural development.
Education plays an important role with each country, especially with the
economic development, which is the same in Vietnam. In the country, if the rate
of educated person is high, it means the indicators of economic development will
also go up. The high-quality workforce who is better skilled and trained in an
accurate education will be a motivation for future growth.
In this paper I am going to carry out the topic of the translation in
“education.”
2. Purpose of assignment
By the requirements of the Ha Noi Open University (HOU) to the award of
degree and diploma certificates, it is a pre-condition that every student upon
moving to the final year, they must take a translation assignment with a selected
organization of their choice. The internship provides students the opportunity to
gather some work experience relevant to their studies and their professional
work field. It helps the student to learn discipline and principles of working
ethics.

3.2 About the company
IMAP Vietnam was established in October 2012 by two founders Nguyen
Thi Giang and Nguyen Thi Hoa. Up to now, IMAP Vietnam is rising to become
