Unit 15 : Lesson : listening
I. Aims :
- By the end of the lesson, the students are able to listen for specific
information
- By the end of the lesson, the students will know more about the Taj
Mahal.
II. Lexical items :
- love at the first sight - battle - emperor

- mourn - beyond description - palace

III. Structures :
-A traditional cake is often served with candles that are to be
blown….
-If birthdays were perfectly random in their distribution across the
year,… then there would be a birthday celebration every 0,005
second.

Games: question chain

- Put SS into groups,

- each member of the
groups has to come to
the teacher and answer a
question. If the correct
answer is given, the
student receives a
phrase or a word (card)
from the teacher. In
case of failure, another
member from the same
group has to come to
the teacher and answer

that question again.
