Chính phủ Australia qui định khung hệ thống chương trình học và bằng cấp chung trên cả nước. Tuy
nhiên, các điều kiện về độ tuổi nhập học có sự khác biệt giữa các bang, hiện tại Australia được chia ra
làm 6 fểu bang: Tiểu bang New South Wales, bang Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, ,
Tasmania Queensland và 2 vùng lãnh thổ 11
