Dear Lan,
How are things getting on with
you? I am fine here.
Since your family moved to Hai
Phong, things are not the same
here. I really enjoyed the things
we did together.
Anyhow, the holidays are about
to begin. Would you like to come
over to my house for a short
stay? We could spend some time
on Lo river again, swimming,
catching crabs, ect. My parents
say that they will be glad to see
you.
Do let me know whether you
can make it or not.
I look forward to your reply.

Lan is one of my best friends. We
have many things in common so we
often meet and do things together. We
live on the same street. It’s interesting
that her birthday is also in June but a
week before mine so we often help
each other to celebrate it. Last Jun we
had a very special birthday party. We
didn’t have it at home as usual but we
had our birthday celebrate at Sam
Son beach during a two- week holiday
with our parents. We spent the
morning swimming and playing on
the beach. We had seafood for lunch
photographs of the
family.
