A- Warm up:

a) What do you usally do in your free time time ?
b) When do you always watch TV ?
c) Do you often watch TV at home or other place ?
d) What is your favorite program ?
B-Presentation:
A1.Listen.Then practice with a partner.
* Pre :

Ss look at the program table on page 139 ,then answer the question.

Where do usually read this program ?
What is Hoa ‘s family doing ?
Do they watch TV?


T introduces the dialogue.
Hoa and Lan are talking about what they often do in the evening.
+ Suggested questions:
-What does Hoa ‘s family do in the evening ?
-Do Hoa’saunt and uncle watch TV ?
-What does Lan’s family do in the evening ?
-Do they play chess ?
* While :

-Ss listen to the tape twice then answer these questions.

+Answer keys: a)They talk about their day .Then they usually read and
sometimes they play chess.
b) No,they don’t.
c) Lan ‘s family watch TV every night.
d) No,they don’t.
-Ss listen to the tape and repeat. ( look at the book)
+ The structure:

Like and prefer + to-infinitive/ Gerund.

e.g : They prefer to do other things.

-Ss read the dialogue in pair before the class.

-Ss read in silence for some minutes.Then do exercise : choose the best
