A/ Aim: Practice listening and reading skill about computers .
B/ Objective: By the end of the lesson, Ps will able to know the helpfulness of the
computers .
C/ Preparation: Pictures, cassette, chart, word cards.
D/ Procedure
I. Getting started :
a. Guessing - game :
What's it ?
- T gives some guiding :
+ It's a mordern machine .
+ People use to type letter , send e-mail and play games .
+ It begins with letter " C " .
- T hands a picture with a computer .
b. Brainstorming:
- T asks Ss to make a list of the benefits of computers in daily life .
- Ss work in groups of 4 .
* Feedback :
- T gives some benefits :
+ Solve problems exactly and quickly .
+ Help us can gather a wide range of informations .
+ Learn more effectively with issual aids .
+ Can keep informatons long and safely .

A/ Aim: Practise speaking about computer .
B/ Objective: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to give opinions ; agreement or
disagreement about other opinions and ss will know more about the steps to get a drink
from a machine .
C/ Preparation: stereo , poster , pictures .
D/ Procedure :
I. Check - up :

- Write new words
- Practise the dialogue .

3. Practice - phase :
a. Picture drill :

- T hangs the pictures and asks Ss to label the pictures using cardwords .
* Cardwords :
1. driving a car .
2. reading comic books .
3. playing in the rain .
4. eating foreign food .


- T asks Ss to use the pictures and adjectives in the box to express and respond to
opinions about the activities above .
- T models first .
T : I think driving a car can be dangerous . What about you ?
S1:So do I / I agree but there won't be a problemif you are careful .
S2:I disagree . I think it is safe , but it is difficult to drive at rushhours .
* Pairwork : open pairs - closed pairs .
b. Practice dialogue :
- T hangs the pictures in exercise 2 and asks :
+ Who are they ?
+ What are they doing ?
+ What's wrong with it ? How to solve the problems .
- Ss practise the dialogue in pairs : open pairs - closed pairs .
- T asks Ss to make the similar dialogue , using the information in the table in exercise 1.

III. New lesson:

3. Post-listening:
- Ss listen to the tape again and fill in the missing words .
This flow chart shows how to get a ( 1) ............... from a machine . It shows that

-After the lesson Ss will be able to know the useful of using computers at schools.
-To drill Ss the words: send massage, receive information, fresh man, computer bulletin

Ask Ss to do exercise 3 ( p 91).
3.New lesson:
A. Warm up.
-Ask Ss to dicuss again the steps to get drink from amachine and speak aloud in front of
the class.( Work in pairs)
 find the machine.
 ask yourself if you have correct change.
 Ask yourself what drink you want to drink.
 Insert coins and press the button.
 Take the drink appearred.
- Give the remark to students ‘ speech.

the university's computers.
b) All the information is available through the computer.
c) A computer and a telephone line.
d) With a bulletin board on the internet, a great number of people can get access to the

bulletin and exchange information quickly.
e) More and more people complete their college degree through Distance education
programs online
-Ask Ss to read the reading aloud in front of the rest.

- Ask Ss to retell again the useful of using computers.

I. Objectives :

e. Click the printer icon on the screen and wait for a few seconds.
f. The printed paper will get out from the output path in a minute
- Check the writing and give the remark.
- Ask Ss to read the instruction again.

-Ask ss to do the exercise :
-Match the name with the pictures given to show the meaning of them.

I. Objectives :
-After the lesson Ss will be able to

revise the present perfect tense and compare with

the simple past tense
-Ask Ss to do the exercise in the text book.
-To drill Ss writing and speaking skills.

III. Teaching procedure.

Ask Ss to retell how to use the printer.?
3.New lesson:
A.

Warm up.

-Ask Ss to do the rearrange sentences into meaningful passage to know how to get money
from the machine.

1. Choose the amount of money you want to withdraw.
2.

Enter the PIN ( Personal Identification Number)

3. Insert the card into the machine.
4.

Get money and the receipt.

-Ask ss to work in pairs to do.
-Give the correct answers.
B. Presentation:
* The present perfect tense.
1.Presentation.
-Ask ss to give the form of the present perfect tense used with already and Yet.
-Work in pairs to give the form and the uses.

The uses:
-Express the action that happened in the past and relate to the present.Used with “yet” .
Ex: Have you finished your homework yet?
-Express the action that happened in the past and already finished.
Ex: I have already finished the homework yet.
-Ask them to compare with the simple past tense.
2.Practice.
-Ask ss to work in pairs to do the exercise 1 ( p144).
-Share the answers to the partners.
-Give the correct asnwers.

Ex: 1
Ba: yes, I have already finished it, Mom.
Ba: I’m sorry, Mom. I haven’t cleaned and tidied it yet.
Ba: don’t worry , Mom. I have already turned it off.
Ba: I have already called and told her to have lunch with us.
-Ask Ss to do exercise 2 ( p144-145).
-work in pairs to practice asking and answering about the flight.
-Ask ss to do this axercise orally.
-Call some pairs to practice before the class.
-Ask Ss to do the exercise 3 ( p146).
-T explains the examples:

-Work in pairs to give the correct answers:

-Ask ss to give the whole uderstanding about the present perfect tense.
* Pressent perfect and the simple past tense.
-Ask Ss to give the differences between the uses of the two tenses.
-Ask ss to work in pairs to do the exercise 4 ( p146).
-Call some pairs to write on the BB.
