* Warm-up: (4mn)
-Turn on the tape.
-Ask:

+What is the song about?
To understand more about WC, let’s move to
the new lesson, The World Cup.
* Pre-reading: (10mn)

*Show a globe and check the meaning.

* Stick poster 1 on the board and have Ss
work in pairs to guess the meanings of the
underlined words.
