would like to do after you finish your education.
After high school there are numerous things I want to do and
accomplish in my life.
I want to attend college and law school. After I start working for a
few years, I plan to settle down, get married, and have children. I still want
to have a career, but I want to raise a family too. I am not sure what will
happen after this or that even this will take place because I can’t really plan
out my life. Life is an unpredictable thing. There are many obstacles that
may get in the way of perusing my goals. Some of the obstaches are college
and law school. It takes a lot of studying, hard word and determination in
becoming a lawyer. With hard work and determination I plan to a complish
my goals, whatever they may be and live up to my full potential.

like.
Life in the city is full of activity. Early in the morning hundreds of
people rush out of their homes in the manner ants do when their nest is
broken. Soon the streets are full of traffic. Shops and offices open, students
flock to their schools and the day’s wwork begin. The city now throb wwith
activity, and it is full of noise. Hundreds of sight-seers, tourists and others
visit many places of interest in the city while businessmen from various
parts of the world arrive to transact business. Then towards evening, the
offices and day school begin to close. Many of the shop too close. There is
now a rush for buses and other means of transport. Everyone seems to be
in a hurry to reach home. As a result of this rush, many accidents occur.
The city could, therefore, be described as a place of ceaseless activity.
Here, the drama of life is enacted every day.

to a famous city.
A few months ago my father and I visited Singapore, one of the most

famous cities in Asia.
Singapore, a small island, lies at the southern and of West Malaysia.
A long and narrow piece of land joins Singapore with Johore Hahru, the
southern-most town of West Malaysia. Singapore is now an independent.
The city of Singapore is extremely beautiful. It is well khown for its
centres of business and other activities. There are many places of interest
such as the Tiger Balm Garden, the Botanical Garden, and Raffles


Museum. There are also many important centres of learning such as the
University and the Polytechnic. Being a famous city, hundreds of people
come every day from various parts of the world to do business or to enjoy
the sights of the city.
4. Write about your house.
I live in the pretty spacious apartment in Bejing. I live in the 8th floor
of a high rise, and it covers a little more than 120 square metres. It is a
fairly nice place. My apartment has six rooms: one living room, one
kitchen, two bathrooms and another two bedrooms. All of them are well
decorated and furnished. There is a big bookself beside my kid‘s room so
that my boy can easuly get books to read. In addition, we have a big
balcony beside the dining table so that we can enjoying eating dinner and
having tea there.
My family spend most of our time in the living room. We‘d like to
sit around a set of comfortable sofa and chat with each other or watch TV.
But when I am free, I would prefer to read the story books to my son. I live
with my wife and my kid. My apartment is pretty big so there is enough
space for everyone. We rented the apartment four years ago. And my kid
is in the kindergarten near my home, so we won’t intend to move around
in the future. We sometimes go out by car because it is not convenient to
take a taxi in that area, and it needs nearly 30 minutes walk to the nearest

subway station. So generally speaking, it is not good to go out without cars.
5. Write about your country.
Well, my hometown is the city of Huangshan, which is a small and
quiet place. It is surrounded by the mountains so that it is a pretty nice place
to live. The weather there is quiet pleasant all year round, even in the winter
the temperatures are quite mild. Although Huangshan is developing a lot
recently, and explanding every year, it is still a traditional town as the new
architectures are built in the old fashioned way. I think that as the tourist
city, it should preserve its own characteristic to attract the tourists. In
addition, the food there is excellent. You can digest a lot of local snacks
that can not be tasted elsewhere. In sum, I believe my hometown is
definitely worth a visit. I was born and raised there. I only moved out when
I went to university in 2002. So I had lived there for about 19 years. Well,
my hometown earns a high reputation for its Huangshan Mountain which
attracts floods of tourists every year around the globe. It is renowned for
its graceful pines, unusual rocks, cloud sea and hot spring. I have been there
for two times. I was really attracted by its magnificent natural scenery.

member
I love all members in my family but I love and respect my mother
best. She is 50 years old and she is a salesperson. She comes from Boston,
but now she is living in New York City. My mom is tall and slim. She has
beautiful long wavy hair. She often ties her hair back. She looks older than
her age because she works really hard. She gets up early and goes to bed
late. After work, she comes home and does housework, but she never
complains. Besides, my mom is very good natured and thoughtfull. She
always helps other people when they have difficulty. Moreover, she seldom
gets angry at anyone. However, she is very strict with me because she

wants me to become a useful person. That’s why I really love and respect
my mom. Futhermore, I really admire her optimistic attitude towards life.
She always teaches me how to overcome challenges in life. When I face
problem, she encourages me and reminds me of the saying, “A pessimist
sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in
every difficulty”. To me, she is the greatest person in the world. She is also
a shining example for me to follow. I want to tell her that “ I really love
you, Mom!”
7. Write a paragraph about your close friends.
Of all my friends, Hanh and Mai are my best friends. We are at the same
class at the primary school and secondary school. We are also neighbors,
so we spend most of our time studying and talking together. Hanh is a
beautiful girl with black eyes and an oval face. She is an intelligent
student who is always at the top of the class. She likes reading and going
to the library whenever she has free time. Mai isn’t as beautiful as Hanh
but she has a lovely smile and a good appearance. Mai is very sporty. She
spends most of her free time playing sports. Mai is a volleyball star of our
school. She is also very sociable and has a good sense of humor. Her
jokes always make us laugh. I love both of my friends and I always hope
our friendship will last forever.

8. Write about your hobby
I like traveling very much because of several reasons. First of all,
traveling can make me feel relaxed and happy. Enjoying the stunning
landscape and spectacular views is one of the best ways to help me get
away from stress in my daily life. Second, traveling to far places is a good
chance for me to broaden my horizons. When I travel a lot, I can


experience many things such as cultures or customs which make a

considerable contribution to my knowledge. Finally, we are more likely
to make friends with many people in other places, so we will not feel
lonlely and strange when traveling anywhere. In conclusion, traveling
plays an essential role in my life.
9. Write about a festival in your country
Tet is one of the most important festivals in my country. It is a big
holiday that celebrates the arrival of spring in Viet Nam every year. It
usually lasts about 7 days. There are a lot of popular customs of
Vietnamese people on Tet holiday.
For example, they often visit their relatives, friends and temples. Some
people visit the graves of their ancestors in their homeland. Before Tet
holiday begins, people decorate their house carefully to have a wonderful
time with their family.
Furthermore, special Tet food such as Chung cake, steamed sticky rice
and boiled chicken can play an important role in Vietnam. Perhaps, Tet is
the time when members of family can gather to chat or have meals
together. Inconclusion, Tet is the essential part in Vietnam.
10. Write about the benefits of reading.
Of all the interesting freetime activities as well as entertainments, I
like reading book most because of its good aspects it brings to me. First
and foremost, reading book not only helps widen my knowledge but also
makes me love my life more. As you know reference books provide us
with a lot of information of every field of our life. Besides, novels, stories
which contain many romantic and touching plots controlling my feeling a
great deal. Moreover, enjoying books regularly gives me a good habit.
Especially, my ability to express words fluently is better and better.
Therefore, I will be confident of communicating with others. In short,
reading books is my main hobby and I will make best use of its
advantages to have a happy lifestyle.
