A document controller is a person who is responsible for processing all
documents within an organisation in a timely manner.
2  Document control is necessary because companies deal with hundreds of
documents. And delays cost money.
3  RFI stands for ‘request for information’. It is a document that asks for
information about specific details in a project. An RFI log is a list of the RFIs.
4  Because the company still gets a lot of documentation which is not in
electronic format.
5  It is a requirement of state law.
