A. INTRODUCTION

I. REASONS FOR CHOOSE THEMES.
Currently, foreign languages, especially English, are considered a basic
cultural subject in the primary school program. It has the same characteristics as
other basic cultural subjects, whose purpose is also to contribute to the
formation of new socialist human moral qualities for students.
Foreign languages have been included in the educational program of all
levels from elementary to university. For Thanh Hoa province, English is also
introduced into schools and it is also considered a major subject. Like other
basic subjects, considering practical skills is an indispensable part, but foreign
language has its own characteristics, taking the system of communication

practice functions as the focus of the teaching content. Because the system of
hands-on exercises does not stop at illustrating that here, communication
practice really becomes the main activity content as the primary goal of foreign
language teaching and learning.
The content of communication skills is practiced through four activities:
Listening - speaking - reading - writing. All four skills are parallel to each other
during the different teaching and learning processes in the program from grade 1
to grade 5. Thus, the importance and need of English is great. However, learning
English in the past few years has not achieved high results despite a lot of time
spent. In this situation, English language teachers must find out the best teaching
methods. One question is: How to teach foreign languages well? in textbooks
are effective and ensure the purpose of communication of the subject;
This is still a difficult question for most teachers of English in primary schools.
Starting from that reason, I chose the topic of experience innovation: "Some tips
to help grade 5 students love to practice speaking according to sentence
patterns in Lam Son 3 primary school "

II. RESEARCH OBJECTIVES:

From the practical teaching of 4th grade English and 5th grade at Lam
Son 3 primary school, I found out:
"Some tips to help grade 5 students love to practice speaking according to
sentence patterns in Lam Son 3 primary school ".Paint to help students
understand the components of the sentence. Help students make sentences in
the most appropriate way according to the needs of each unit and help them
understand the content of the lesson in aproactive and creative way.

I. THE DISCUSSION OF THE EXPERIENCE OF EXPERIENCE.
Based on the current educational goals, practicing speaking focuses on
developing students' dynamism, creativity and positivity, in order to create their
ability to identify and solve problems. to achieve the goal, the use of tricks when
teaching sample sentences to students instead of traditional pattern teaching, it is
necessary for teachers to provide sentence patterns.
Based on the renewal of English teaching methods in primary schools of
the Ministry of Education and Training, the basic criteria of new teaching
methods are the independent, positive and proactive activities of students in
solving Resolve language communication tasks in specific communication
situations. Structure and vocabulary are the main components of
communication. Based on the purpose of renewing teaching methods for

elementary students, especially English.
Therefore, teachers need to flexibly choose teaching methods and
techniques to achieve the required purpose of the lesson. Students know how to
use sentence patterns to say pairs, pairs, or groups. In addition, teachers need to
explain to students the importance of actively learning sentence patterns. From
there, they can use language meaningfully and express what they want to
communicate. Most importantly, students understand the meaning of the sample
points they are learning to be able to use. through listening - speaking - reading writing forms. At the same time, they have demonstrated the language
knowledge that they have learned through speaking exercises and can achieve
good results by innovative methods.
II. SITUATION OF PROBLEMS BEFORE APPLYING THE
EXPERIENCE OF THE EXPERIENCE
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training,
students can only study for 2 periods per week. Some qualified schools may
have higher periods, 4 periods per week. Thus, the time of contact with English
on the total number of weekly communication hours is very small. Moreover,
the English-speaking environment for children is just the classroom lessons.
Leaving the classroom, children use Vietnamese. In fact, students do not have
any need to use English, except for the requirements of study and examination at
school. Every need to use English is practice, there is no other natural
environment to provide English for them.

In addition, elementary students are unable to focus their thoughts for a
long time to acquire knowledge when teachers communicate. But few teachers
in foreign language teaching are interested in helping them to participate in
many activities, doing many things themselves, being able to touch different
types of exercises as well as communication situations.
Another psychological trait of students is that they quickly learn, imitate

quickly and forget quickly. They are very curious, energetic and creative
naturally, always in need of exploring their surroundings and communicate with
people. We cannot deny the child's love and creativity in the game. After all,
most of the teachers who use the tricks in teaching English are only formal, give
and have little attention, find out how to effectively use the steps to help them
take the initiative. , confident, excited and actively studying this subject.
Myself has been taught English for students in grade 5 of Lam Son 3
primary school for many years, the school is located at the end of the town and
the workers 'and farmers' areas, they do not get much attention from parents. .So
they have a lot of difficulties in studying this subject. The ability to memorize
words and grammar of grade 5 students has many limitations, especially the
ability to communicate and set sentences in terms of passive and lack of
confidence, leading to children not actively learning and quality. English
learning is not high.
Specifically, at the beginning of the year, I surveyed the quality of over
120 students in grate 5 of Lam Son Primary School 3 results obtained as
follows:

From the above reality results, the quality of English subject of Lam Son
3 Primary School students in general and grade 5 students in particular is not

high. Therefore, I have boldly put some solutions in practical teaching and work
to solve concerns, problems and outstanding issues in teaching and educating
students with the desire to contribute helping grade 5 students to be active and
interested in learning to improve the quality of English, to meet the current
educational requirements.
III. SOLUTIONS TO USE TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS.
1. THE MEANING OF SCIENCE OF THE STRUCTURAL
STRUCTURE
Before going to the training stage, teachers introduce the meaning of
grammatical structure with words and writing on the board. To introduce
meaning, I often choose to use techniques that are suitable for each lesson, so
that there is a change of techniques in conditions that may not be boring, for
example: Pictures and direct supplies. ...

- After introducing vocabulary, sample sentences to practice in groups.
Students conduct practice sentence patterns according to groups.

you win and you will see the pictures and answer.

- For self-introduction, if you win, you will only compete and read the
word or phrase in the picture, you will lose the sentence with the word or group.
- Through the rock-paper-scissors movement, it was a surprise to divide
the task of asking and answering because if you keep asking and answering as
usual, you will know the sentence you must ask (or answer) because That won't
pay attention to what your friend says.

1.2. Play ball:
* Scope of application :
- Practice sample questions and answers in the new language lesson.
- Practice sample questions and answers in the revision period. Then the
teacher must re-introduce the sample questions to revise in the lesson period.

- Then the teacher put the sentence form on the board and explained to the
students

* Procedure:
- Prepare 4 balls (2 balls with a question mark are 2 balls answered and 2
balls without a question mark are two balls that don't have to answer.)
- Divide the class into two groups, give each group 2 results (1 with
question marks and 1 without).
- The whole class sang in a loud voice (or listened to a CD, cassette) and

passed the ball when the teacher instructed (tap, clap, stop the music) students
who are holding the ball with question mark of group 1 will ask questions for
you to answer balls of group 2 and vice versa.
- Active division of ball-passing teams to create excitement, comfort and
quick reflexes, good when practicing collective sentences.When practicing
students can then create many different new patterns and words for students both
the group remembers.
2. PATTERNS OF PATTERNS THROUGH GROUP GROUP

- Each member of the group will be given a card containing a sentence in
the dialogue of each child to memorize his sentence and not let you see, then
each child will read his or her sentence give it to the group and put it together in
the order of the lesson learned.

- Graphics activity helps children master in activities to create confidence

skills ,speak well with the sentence patterns learned.
3. STRENGTHENING TESTS, TESTING AFTER DRAWING
The majority of English grammar knowledge 5 is revision, systematic,
reinforce knowledge learned from grades 3 - 4. Therefore, most of the exercises
in the lessons are aimed at strengthening and examining grammar knowledge

learned. In order to help students acquire knowledge and practice skills, in
addition to guiding them to practice, teachers need to give them a sense of
excitement and excitement for them to actively participate in lessons as well as
knowledge acquisition. For this, the best way is for teachers to apply appropriate
tricks, while games will have a positive effect in stimulating excitement for

students. For the purpose of this lesson:

When two or three grammar structures are introduced, in order for
students to see the differences in these structures, I use ways for students to
compare sentences and show the differences between structures.

- Sample questions and answers / answers in the new language lesson.
Eg:

- Practice the sentence pattern and answer / answer sentence form in the
practice period. Then the teacher needs to re-introduce the sample sentences that
need to be reviewed in this lesson.

- Divide the class into two teams, each team is 1 boat. The mission of

By expressing students' creative gestures and actions as appropriate
teaching tools in each lesson as conducted, I see that they are really excited,
excited to study, and the lessons are very exciting. Regret does not apply to

has always been high.
IV. EFFICIENCY OF SKKN FOR ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES
WITH THE FAMILY AND HOME STAFF.
After applying flexible and creative applications, the tricks when teaching
a grade 5 English grammar lesson, I found the teaching tricks that I gave in each

lesson promoted the effectiveness of teaching. It helps students to be proactive
and active in acquiring knowledge, they are able to memorize new words and
grammatical structures very quickly and remember long. Most students are
confident and bold in studying and communicating in English, the skills of
listening, speaking, reading and writing are also enhanced. Especially the
children are very excited during the lesson and turn every English lesson very
hard and confusing now and now they are fun, comfortable and gentle lessons.

Teachers themselves are constantly learning to cultivate more knowledge and
creativity in the organization of special teaching, the grammatical structure of
English books in grade 5 is quite heavy.
Through the testing period on students in grade 5, I was in charge, the
results obtained when testing students' knowledge and skills in English:
averaging over 100% satisfactory, she was very happy after the introduction of
the new version with Block 5: there are 120 students, the results are as follows:

From the above results, it is shown that the use of tricks to help students
who love to practice speaking in accordance with the grade 5 sentence pattern
that I have carried out has really brought about a certain effect, contributing to
improving the quality of English subjects of the school.

C. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Conclusion
In short, with what I have done, it is not outside the purpose of teaching
English effectively according to the method of communicating with the current
textbook. The problem is with a heavy lesson on grammar training, if
inexperienced teachers return to the old method: analyzing words, analyzing
sentences, instructing teachers to solve exercises in books, ... overshadowing the
function of training Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing skills , do not
achieve the goal of helping students practice their ability to communicate in
English. Besides, I am interested in learning each type of exercises to choose a
technique to conduct teaching and learning activities in the class so as to be
effective with each lesson. Flexibility, attention to changing tricks, choosing
appropriate activities, rationally allocating time - stimulating students' interest in

learning and over time implementing research topics I have achieved desired
result.
In the process of implementation, I received support from the professional
team, I received sympathy as well as constructive suggestions of colleagues to
improve the topic. At the same time, in the process of implementing the topic,
I also encountered certain difficulties. It is the abuse of the book "Good study
guide ..." of students that makes them lazy to think, which is limited facilities:
rooms, tables and chairs ... make the activities, groups have to proceed In a
rather cramped space, ... However, enthusiasm and sense of responsibility - in
the end it was the motivation that motivated me to try to find positive directions
to accomplish the task.
2. Recommendations.
In order to make effective use of visual aids in synchronized English

teaching, at the schools, I would like to propose some of the following issues:
- For teachers to be flexible in renewing teaching methods to improve
teaching effectiveness, helping students enjoy and be active in learning English.
- Need to know how to fully exploit the effectiveness of visual aids in
each lesson to help students be proactive and confident in every lesson.
- For the professional team: Organize the thematic report related to the
topic I have studied to continue to promote the positive teaching direction in the
exercise. On that basis, I will have conditions to promote research topics,
complete more topics, expand the scope of application.
- For the school: it is necessary to create more facilities, facilities and
teaching equipment so that every lesson will be an hour for teachers and
students to learn and create to improve the effectiveness of education.
- For education and local offices: need to pay more attention to English as
well as English learning movement, create more conditions to improve the
quality of teaching and learning in English such as: Building functional rooms,
Invest in audio-visual equipment such as cassettes, projectors, pictures and other
reference materials for both teachers and students.

which I have done to improve the effectiveness of teaching Grade 5 English in
particular and in teaching In general, during the implementation process, due to

limited time conditions, the condition of students in facilities was limited, I
could not illustrate through many lessons. In the course of research and
experimentation, there are still many shortcomings, I look forward to the
