Lesson 1 : Reading.
I. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to :
_ read the letter and get information to decide on True / False statements.
_ Answer the questions. And fill in the blanks with a suitable word from the letter.
II. Teaching aids:
Textbooks, chalks, boards, pictures...
III. Teaching procedure:
1. Checking students’ attendance.
2. New lesson: Unit 6 _ Reading.

1. They are going on a trip when
they have some days off after the

lessons. And many of them have
never been inside a caves.
3. It’s only over 20 km.
4. They are going to make a two-day
trip, and have a night campfire. They
are bringing their own food and
sharing buses with some other
classes to make the trip cheap.
5. She is anxious about getting her
parents’ permission. Because they
may not let her stay the night away
from home.

_ Argue to keep their opinions of the arranging seats according to their wishes.

Textbooks, chalks, boards, pictures, the drawing of a boat,...
III. Teaching procedure:
1. Checking students’ attendance.
2. Oral test: Ask ss some questions of the previous lesson, check ss’ new words.
