I. Aims:
By the end of the lesson,Students will be able to practise speaking fluently
the nouns to talk about parts of body.
- Teaching aids: tape, pictures

1. Warm up
- Greetings
- Shark attack: body
2. Vocabulary.
- a head (n) (mime / picture) ®Çu
- a chest (n) (mime / picture) ngùc
- a shoulder (n) (mime / picture) vai
- an arm (n) (mime / picture) c¸nh tay
- a hand (n) (mime / picture) bµn tay
- a leg (n) (mime / picture) cảng chân
- a foot -> feet (pl N) bµn ch©n
- a finger (n) (mime / picture) ngãn tay
- a toe (n) (mime / picture) ngãn ch©n
Checking : Ro + R
Lable the blackboard picture as Preteach : Ro +R the lables.


Get Ss to relable the picture.
3. Presentation
- Get Ss to listen and repeat the parts of the body.
- Use the picture A1 – P.96 to introduce .
- Ask some questions and then get Ss to give model sentences.
- Teacher: What’s this?
- Student: This is his head.
- Teacher: What are these?
- Student: These are his shoulders.
- Ss read in pairs chorrally – individually.
- Practise reading.
- Concept check
* Form:
a. Ask and answer about the singular noun of the boby.
S1: What is this / that?
S2: This / That is his / her + a part of body.
b. Ask and answer about the plural noun of the boby.
