The first term
I.SITUATION:
1.Advantages:
a.Teacher:
-Graduating college of pedagogy specializing on English.
-Self-enriching to improve professional knowlegde and learning experience from the
colleagues.
-Attending the class of workshops on English language teaching.
-Loving teaching and cherishing children.
-Being concerned by the board of school management and foreign language group.
b.Students:
-Locating in the same hamlet.So students have good chance in practising in their
pairs / groups
as well as solving problem together in their studies.
-Having studied English since they were pupils of elementary school.
-Having enough textbooks.
-Being fond of English very much.
-Being concerned by their parents for their studies.
2.Disadvantages:
-Some of students lose basic foundation on English from elementary school.
-Being lack of the necessary equipments and tools for teaching and learning.


-Obtaining for students’knowledge is not equal.
-Locating in the rural area, students have local sounds.Therefore, they have
a lot of difficulties in English pronounciation.
-Some students are in needed condition.

II.SUBJECT’S DEMANDS:
1.Knowlege:
a.Topics:
-Personal information: - friends , house and home
-Education: school life and study habits.
-Community: shopping , neighborhood , country life and city life.
b.Grammar:
- Tenses: present simple, present progressive, past simple, past progressive, future simple
(including be going to), present perfect .
- Modal verbs: must, have to, ought to, should, may, can, could

- Question words, indirect questions with if and whether
- Nouns: singular, plural, countable, uncountable
- Adverbs of places, time, frequency, manner

- Adjectives: attributive and predicative, comparatives and superlatives
- Prepositions of time, place, direction
- Reported speech: commands, requests and advice
- Indefinite qualifiers: a little, a lot/lots of, too much
- Sequencing: first, next, then, after that, finally
- Gerund and infinitive: like + gerund, like/preposition + infinitive, adjective + enough +
infinitive
2.Skills: Listening -Speaking -Reading-Writing .

III. CHAPTER PLANS:

IV.MEASURES:
1.Teachers:
-Having good designs for teaching periods:lesson plan, pictures, extraboards,
realias, cassette recorder …
-Having many good methods which are suitable with every level of student’s
ability
-Making all the students participate:pairwork, groupwork, individual.

2.Students:
-Learning their lessons by heart and finishing their homework / exercises before
going to school(100% of students).
-Having necessary and sufficient equipments of studying: textbooks, workbook,
notebooks, rulers, referencebooks ...
-Doing their tests by themselves in examination time.
