The great English play writer and poet, William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564 in small town of
Stratford – upon – Avon, about seventy-five miles from London. He was the son of a tradesman. He went to
Stratford Grammar School when he was a boy. At twenty-one he left Stratford for London where he joined a
