1. Present Simple:
S + V/Vs/Ves.. .
Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả hành động xảy ra ở hiện
tại, một thói quen hay sở thích.
to be: am/ is/ are
to have: has/ have
Ex: She often goes to school in the morning.
2. Present Progressive:
S + is/ am/ are + Ving.. .
Ex: He is sleeping in his room./ is forgetting
3. Present Perfect:
S + has/ have + Ved/ V3.. .
Thì hiện tại hoàn thành diễn tả hành động xảy ra
trong quá khứ và vẫn còn tiếp tục đến hiện tại,
hành động vẫn mới hoàn thành.
Ex: She has just finished her work.
4. Past Simple Tense:
S + Ved/ V2.. .
Diễn tả hành động xảy ra và chấm dứt trong quá
khứ.
Ex: He visited me yesterday.
5. Past Perfect:
S + was/ were + Ving.

Diễn tả hành động đang diễn ra tại một thời
điểm xác định trong quá khứ . Hành động đang
xảy ra kèm một hành động khác . Hai hành động
diễn ra đồng thời.
Ex: He was watching TV at 8.00 pm.
6. Simple Future:
S + will + Vinf.. .
Diễn tả hành động sẽ xảy ra ở tương lai
Ex: Will you open the door, please?
